Radiohead’s management has revealed that the group’s new album will not be released until 2008.

However, the band have reportedly finished and mastered the new album, the follow up to 2003’s Hail To The Thief.

Radiohead are currently out of a record contract and there has been no official word on which label the new album will eventually come out on

If it's actually finished, why do we have to wait....??

Not on a record contract..?? Surely they can sell it on the Internet using their site, people can just download it, who the hell needs a record company, a big, established act like Radiohead certainly dont... Radiohead have managed to recored the thing off their own back in their own studio, so I honestly cant understand why they feel the need to have a record company distribute it for them, it's not as if they really give a fukk about chart placings anyway.. They're a band who have loads of fans who would buy it regardless.. Generate a bit of buzz for the album on MySpace or Youtube, get some samples out there...

Really? I thought Hail To the Theif was brilliant.

It was (as was Thom Yorke's solo album..), dont listen to people who clearly know nothing about real music.... -_-

There's a bloody good reason why Radiohead are rated as highly as they are....

I do not agree that Hail to the Thief is brilliant at all. Its is not a bad record, but not a patch on Kid A, OK Computer or The Bends. I have been a Radiohead fan for many years and I consider I know enough about 'real' music to have an objective opinion...

Is that supposed to be a dig at me?

Tell me what "real" music is then :/
