The first CD's I ever had were Vengaboys (shoot me now) and Spice Girls. Ahhh the good old days.

First CD album, in 1990, was Brothers In Arms, Dire Straits.

I got a CD player for my 16th birthday & received The Beatles - Sgt Peppers...... & Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon as presents.

My first CD was Spice Girls ' Wannabe' and their debut album was my first album - either that or some Smurfs compliation. [Don't judge me for the Smurfs I was 8].

got my first cd player back in 1997 when i was 12 :)

first album cd was The Prodigy - Fat of the land :o :lol:

first compilation : some hits compilation from '97 - Bravo Hits or somethin ' :P

I think my first CD was Ace Of Base-The Sign.

I honestly can't remember what the heck I bought first. It was probably a single - maybe Teethgrinder by Therapy? or Fear Loves This Place by Julian Cope in 1990. Can't remember because I had them all nicked about a week after I bought them! Did manage to replace them all eventually. I would have a look but I've got around 2,500 of the bloody things now. I held off getting a CD player as long as I could because I always preferred vinyl.

 

Can't see them lasting another 25 years though not with mp3 about.

I think mine was a welsh band called Dagrau or something like that.

 

They were selling it at the school when I was like 7 and I begged my mum for it :lol:

I think I bought my first Cd single in 1996 & that was 'En Vogue' 'Don't Let Go (Love)'
