Posted August 21, 200717 yr Lily Allen was on fire during her set at V Festival - making some pretty headlining statements. The singer referred to President Bush as a f***ing c**t and said "This next one is about people who are awkward on the train, U.S. immigration officials and George Bush in general", before singing the song 'Everything's Just Wonderful'. About her visa problems, Lily added: "I've been banned from America. That's nice. Oh well, that means I can't go back there. Good." And that's not the only thing. Lily raised her glass and said "It's the end of the weekend, you have got to have a drink. Here's to Amy Winehouse... ha!" On her MySpace-blog she explains that the action was only to show her support to the singer, who has checked out of rehab for the second time this week. "I've been around enough substance abuse and alcoholism to know that it's a serious matter, and not to be taken lightly"
August 28, 200717 yr I saw her at V in Stafford and she really was on fire with her statements! They tried to chuck her off before she finished her set and she was like "Who's on next? Manic Street Preachers? You want to chuck me off so you can listen to an hour of that boring $h!t?" Here's a pic I took: http://photos-a.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v108/112/13/197815845/n197815845_36317804_8315.jpg Edited August 28, 200717 yr by Ashley
