Dear god someone thinks John Travolta is good, u should start up a fan club, think I met someone else once who liked him, think it was at a screening for Look Who's Talking Now!!

Look Who's Talking Now is a truly awful film, did you really waste your money going to see it?

Travolta is one of the most successful actors in cinema history, so clearly ALOT of people like him. You're one of the few i've come accross who dislike him so much actually.

not that i agree with everyones negative views but High School Musical
Not seen high school musical. Is that fact about John being successful true? Jesus christ, but then again this is a world where antony cotton gets his own chat show and Jade Goody and Brian Dowling still have a career so it doesn't really say much. Actually saw Look Who's Talking Now on Sky was justy being sarcastic.
I don't really like Shrek.

I'd say Titanic.

Although I'd agree that Titanic is possibly in the list of my ten worst films of all time, I don't think it is actually rated or regarded highly. Yes - it was a box-office winner and James 'sh*t for brains' Cameron got an Oscar for it as well as it getting best film - but I doubt it'll have the longevity in people's conciousness as say Shawshank or Pulp Fiction. Titanic was a hugely successful piece of 'bubble-gum' film making - the same as Forrest Gump but that's all it was - almost instantly forgettable (and having watched the excellent way in which A Night To Remember portrays events, Cameron's Titanic was an insult to the people who lost their lives that night).

I actually liked Pulp Fiction but hated Reservoir Dogs. If I was asked to say what Tarantino film I've enjoyed the most though - it has to be Jackie Brown - and I don't know why no-one has mentioned it here before.

By the way I expected to dislike Shrek immensely - I loved it!

Someone else has mentioned The Godfather and Citizen Kane - I agree - I just don't get it! I thought Welles' A Touch of Evil was far superior to Kane.

Kathy

Pulp Fiction is extremely overrated, I watched it and waited for ages for something really big to happen but nothing did. It was just confussing and a bit weird, it's a good film but not amazing like eveyone says.
