Second best song of the year (Thats an achievement considering the amount of quality we've had so far in 2007) from the Stereophonics has given them their first TOTB no.1. It should stay at the top until its release at the end of the month. A surprise climb from Babyshambles sees them occupy the no.2 spot with the excellent 'Delivery' which means that last week's no.1 from the Enemy is this week's only faller in the top 5, settling at no.3. Brand new entry at no.5 this week courtesy of Hard-Fi. The follow-up to 'Suburban Knights' (and better than it imo) is one of the best songs on the very strong album, and will definately start climbing as of next week. With such a strong top 5, the Coral have to make do with a second week at no.6 with the superb 'Jaqueline', and the Hoosiers enter just behind them with the insanely catchy 'Goodbye Mr A' which should also climb soon. Jack Penate completes the trio of non-movers in this weeks no.10 and the Manic Street Preachers are a new entry at no.10 with the disappointing 'Indian Summer', which is one of the weaker songs on the album. Due to being allegedly taken off the release list, Kasabian find themselves plummeting and could leave the chart next week if no news develops.

Great No.1, its becoming my fave Stereophonics hit to date, it just grows and grows everytime I hear it

 

8 out of 10 this week, Travis and Jack Penate latest singles, does not do anything for me.

 

Nice to see Hard Fi entering so early in your chart with their next single, loving their album to bits though. And the Hoosiers new track is awesome

Love the Hard-Fi track. I think its tied with Television for my fave from the album, which, as youve said rocks :dance:

 

And the Hoosiers is a weird one... it's not that great of a song, its just insanely catchy and gets stuck in my head for hours :/
