However their own games are must win games, the Czech Republic are second in group D so the Republic of Ireland who are 3rd and 3 points behind the Czech Republic will be looking to get into a qualifying place. Northen Ireland are second in Group F on equal points with spain who are third, after losing to Liechtenstein Nothen Ireland will want to make up points and get onto equal points with leaders Sweden.

 

England and Scotland both have vital fixtures against Russia and France, both will be looking to win, Scotland will be looking to go to the top of the table if they beat current leaders France, Scotland will be looking for at least something from this game with their final 3 games against Italy, Ukraine and Italy. England currently 3rd in group E are just 1 point behind 2nd place Russia who they are playing. A win would take them into the top 2 of the table for the first time in several months. Don't expect many goals in England V Russia though, between them they have consided just 3 goals in the 8 games they have both played.

 

Wales have almost no chance of qualifying for Euro 2008 play Slovakia, when these two met earlyer in the qualifying campagin Wales were humilated 5-1. However Wales appear happy with there new young set up and seam to want consentrate on building up to qualifying for South Affrica 2010 world cup.

Ukraine V Italy

Italy are currently 3rd in group b, 1 point behind Scotland and 2 points behind France. The Ukraine are 4 points behind Italy and will be looking for a win to have a shot of being one of the two teams that qualify. Both teams have beaten Scotland allready, and when they travel to Hampden they will be looking to take something from the Scots who havent lost at home in this campagin. The Ukrainians also have a game in hand which if they won would leave them just 1 point behind Italy should the results remain as they are. At the end of tonight Italy could be top of the table as tonights games in group B see 1st V 2nd and 3rd V 4th

 

Andorra v Croatia

Croatia currently have a two point lead of 2nd place Russia and 3rd place England. The Croatians will be looking for a win and for Russia and England to draw so they can extend their lead at the top of Group E. Andora are the only team in group e not to have won any points in the qualifers, they have also consided the most goals in the whole of the qualifying for euro 2008 letting in 30 in 8 games, apart from San Marino who have let in 40

 

Spain V Latvia

Soming it up nice and shortly, Spain are on equal points with Northen Ireland, a better result than the Irish get in Iceland will see the spainards go up to 2nd in group F.

Redemption for wales, Slovakia thrashed them 5-1 in wales near the start of the campagin but tonight in Slovakia, the welsh come from behind to win 5-2

 

Desastor for Northen Ireland, with their first shot on target Iceland take a 1-0 lead.

Hope England can win, I think they can do it, as its a home game for them.

First half very impressive great game their best yet, against a very strong team. Owen's best game performance so far, could have been 3-0 up, but I'm happy with the score so far.

 

The controversial goal by Russia, I wasn't sure if it was a handball, difficult to see, if it was.

 

The second half should be entertaining to watch, hope they don't get sloppy

 

 

Personally I think the 2-0 lead flatters England.

 

I could easily see Russia coming back into this in the second half.
