That wouldn't be funny, but an injustice.

Take That's song is awful in comparison to Leona's amazing comeback.

It wouldn't be that bad if she only got to no.2 :P maybe if you listen to the new take that song abit more then maybe it'll grow on you

or maybe if you go watch the "Stardust" movie too you may like it more. :D

Oh that's right. She won X Factor and had a huge number 1, and has come back with a storming single, and yet you think the public will somehow forget her in favour of a single sung by a fat old codger and his 3 crooning backing singers. Yes, yes, I really foresee that happening.

she won XFactor a year ago.... and has been struggling all year to find a decent team to work with. All this stashed away in the US beavering away on new stuff - nonsense. They struggled to find anyone to write her decent songs (sounds like they failed to find any)...and Cowell then DELIBERATELY timed this single with the new XFactor show. Lewis has zero say in her career - yet another pop puppet. But hey - you kids seem smitten. The drongoes who watch piffle like XFactor will buy any old tat, as has been proved year after year after year.... so this single will do well for her.

Bleeding Love is a humdrum, mediochre, bland comeback (hideous production, too, that backing track is appalling) - if this is the best track she has to make a comeback with - Christ, how bad must the rest of the album be?

She's a karaoke-style reality show star - that's all. Zero originality, a so-so voice (WAY too much toe-curling histrionics), no style, no presence - no lasting power.

Of course this'll be a hit - but the rest of the album? It''ll do ok - but it's the end of the road for her. The pop world is a fickle old place - and she simply doesn't have the charisma or sassiness to make a long-lasting career.

Whoa :o dude you really killed it :o

Really? But Leona's average song surely DOES sound commercial, right?

We'll see who's right.. For me its all about the TALENT anyway, not about Simon Cowell's capability of manipulating with charts and his artists. I like real musicians, but not the amateur manufactured puppets which all Simon's acts really are including your beloved Leona although she does have a good voice, i must admit. But Take That are in a different league.

yes leona's is :) she has a far better voice then any of the guys in Take That and she shows it in the song and just because artists are manufactured does not mean they have no talent -_-

I was only just joking :P if tt get to no.1 then good if they dont and leona gets to no.1 thats good too

i actually love her new song so im not gonna bash her her or anything. ;) I wish tt & leona the best of luck.

yes exactly im all for people supporting both but when people start bashing Leona and making up cr*p about her then im not ok with that <_< which im sure most people would be with there fovourite artists/groups -_-
I thınk Take That may get to no1 ahead of Leona. X Factor wınnıng follow up sıngles never sell as well as the fırst one and Leona has been out of the lımelıght for a consıderable perıod..possıbly too long. Although ıts a good sıngle, competıtıon from Take That wıll be fıerce due to ıt beıng a new track not on theır current album.

my my.... you're extremely easy to please and humour, Jark.

Probably explains your "if Woolies stock it - it must be great", "if it wins a talent show and Louis Walsh says it great - I want I want" musical tastes.

How obvious, sheep-like and boooooooooring.

Go back to the home, old man.

FYI I detested Leona as a winner initially, and have liked neither her nor Shayne's debut singles. However, you'd have to be a fool to fail to see how sparkling the production on Bleeding Love is.

Obvious?

How obvious was it that you weren't going to like Leona's song.

Very.

a fool? Nah... my best mate's a sound engineer for Massive Attack... it was something he mentioned, actually, when he asnd I were listening to the single

And as for the bitching about age - thank God I'm older, really - thank God.... I'd be ashamed to be a teenager with such fey, boring, obvious tastes as yourself, really I would, Jark. Whatever happened to originality, rebellion and ballsiness? Your musical tastes are like the playlist in a townie Yates wine lodge.

And isn't it deeply unprofessional and REALLY not the done thing for a MOD to be making such silly camp, offensive remarks to members?

Calm down guys, no need to be insulting, Jack. We are all entitled to our opinions.

Thankfully someone can at least see this argument isn't as one-sides as is being suggested.

Anyway as far as I'm concerned, Russt need not exist as of now; I'll not be reading anything of his.

I did not suggest it was one sided, all I ask is that everyone respects everyone elses opinions without resorting to insults.

I love Take That's song - it gets better each time I hear it (I wasn't sure on the first listen - but I actually like it more than Patience now). Even so - I'm glad the bookies have made Leona Lewis the favourite for number one (by a large margin) as all the pressure is on her to deliver and the lads can just sit back and enjoy themselves - they're certainly guaranteed the number two slot - with an outside chance of number 1. Either way - I would say definitely that their song will stick in the charts for about 20 weeks whereas I think Leona's will be in at number one then out within 10 weeks. She is a nice girl with a fairly decent voice ... but surely after this long wait - her fans deserved something with a bit more balls!

By the way - who's the smart ar*e making the comment 'get back to the home old man'? Cheeky beggar!
