The Jeremy Kyle Show is totally phoney. There was an

Article on it in yesterday's 'Daily Mail'. People who have worked

on the Show made some startling revelations.

 

1) When there is a 'Family Conflict', or 'Cheating' Tale to be told,

the Show lets the people waiting to go on Stage, see what the Family

member, or Boy Friend, Girl Friend, etc. is saying on Stage. To get the

people back stage very angry, Production Crew wind them up, by saying

things like, 'Did you hear what he said? I wouldn't let him 'fXXXing get

away with that!' And so on - it is designed to get the people back stage

so furious, that when Kyle asks them to come on Stage, they often rush at

the person already on Stage - and swear or try to attack them.

Then Kyle acts all self righteous, & tells the people off for swearing.

He also says:, 'There is no excuse for violence! Do you hear me?'

 

He does this knowing full well that the Show deliberately baits people into

losing their tempers.

 

Some would say it serves people right for going on the Show. In a way

it does - but, the Show itself is just garbage, that is really created to

try & create conflict on Stage - while Kyle makes out that he is a good guy,

with a lot of common sense, & he knows how to sort 'these people' out. It is so

phoney, it is unbelieveable!

 

2) The 'Daily Mail' also revealed - via former workers on the Show - that

people who work for the Show are 'Planted' in the Audience - to cheer, boo,

jeer, & clap - in an attempt to get everyone else in the Audience joining

in - as many do.....

 

Kyle is so false, it is a joke. Many times I have seen him confront a bad

tempered thug on the Show, with:, 'You watch it mate! I am not even passed

1st base yet! Believe me, you do not want to see me pass 1st base! I have

stood up to bigger men than you in my time! So you watch it, mate!'

 

(I would LOVE to see Jeremy get 'passed 1st base' - the way he talks, it should

be like seeing him turn into the Incredible Hulk, & Rambo, combined! I suspect

that it is 100% all talk).

 

He says all that to thugs - knowing that he has at least 3 huge Male Security Guards

a few feet away from him! Ooh! Jeremy is so brave! I would be more impressed

with his phoney macho threats if he went up to such thugs in a dark alleyway - alone!

- and told them how he can 'deal' with them!

i agree with the points you make in (1), there IS baiting going on, most of the violence could be avoided.

 

as for (2), most shows have plants in the audience, or some jerk holding up an 'appluase' sign, thats nowt new, its been around since tv started. (i for one dont know where half the hysteria comes from on deal or no deal, theres often the sound of cheering, whistling, etc but the crowd on the tv seem pretty docile)

 

i agree also that he can be smug and self righteous... HOWEVER, he DOES get people in need proper councilling for drug/drink/abuse problems and he follows them through . its easy to criticise the charade wether or not you like it, but the programme isnt ALL about conflict, its about help. and thats what sets him apart from springer, lake etc...

Great post as always Zeus... I'm a wee bit suspicious when it comes to the "Daily Mail", but they wouldn't go off on some sort of anti-Kyle rant without the evidence to back it up, after all, the bloke comes off a bit like a "Daily Mail" editorial half the time :lol: and they both seem to share similar values....

 

Pretty much sums up what I think of the show really - totally fake, designed to provoke certain reactions. Whatever "good" this guy might do is utterly cancelled out by his egotism, his totally manipulative style and the way he baits people.. Well, this time it spilled over into an actual assault... Next time, who know, maybe murder????

Well, there IS a principle involved here mate, the principle being how media sharks like Kyle manipulate and bait people for their own egotistical ends... I've seen (and researched actually as part of my degree course...) enough of these types of show to see right through them for what they are.... They might occasionally be of some help to a few people, but this is merely to give them a sort of respect which they are totally unworthy of... Kyle is trash TV of the worst kind - Trash TV that actually thinks it's something other than what it is..... At least Jerry Springer admits his shows were rubbish.....

They can all get counselling without having to go on some tacky Tabloid TV show though mate, and some things are better off being done IN PRIVATE... This whole American style of "confessional TV" is just totally abhorrent and it does nothing to really improve things, like I say, it's an ego/power trip for the presenter, they love the feeling of being in power and having power over someone else... Kyle himself has NO counselling qualifications, he has to pass them on to somebody else - his "team", who probably DO have the relevant qualifications and experience to deal with the issues.....

Ahaha he's amazing when he does that <3.

 

I used to bum Jezza 'til I was blue in the face but it's so, so tedious now. I can't watch one episode straight through anymore, it's like...by the time he's put his 2 cents into ANY issue, it's the end of the show. And what else annoys me...the fact that there was an episode once involving a boy telling a story about how he was p***ing about with matches (or something) and set himself alight...and Jeremy gave him tickets to a big football match or something as some kind of reward. Way to get a bunch of pre-teens setting themselves on fire thinking something ace will result from it!

 

I must say I do like the other types of episodes they do though, ie the ones where people come on and say how so and so got murdered etc, and the one where Jezza and Graham went to Africa.

are not some very damaged people on his Show, but he makes

I have read before that he has Zero qualifications to counsel,

& advise - and patronise - the people who appear on the Show.

All he does is say things like, he moved Heaven & Earth to help his

Brother, who was on Heroin. And that when he was working away

from Home, he, 'drove all night', to get back to his Children. It is

ALL about HIM! He is a boastful, arrogant, over bearing show off.

 

As for the Guy who Kyle calls, 'A Genius' - Graham - Psychologist

- whenever he is brought onto the Stage, he just comes out with

100% obvious advice, that I & many others, can think of by ourselves,

& we do not regard ourselves as either Psychologists or Genius's.

 

As for those who condemn the Show, being 'Hypocrites' - for watching

it. Well, I have never liked people who want Films or Games etc. 'Banned',

& then you find out that they have never even seen what they want to get

rid of. THAT is Hypocritical. By actually studying the Kyle Show, one can

- gradually - see the patterns of how it works, & what is so wrong about

it.

 

I watch it about once every 2 Weeks - if that - to see if it is still as awful

it used to be. There is no imagination in the types of problems & the people

that they have on. Nearly all of the 'Guests' are what I call Semi Barbarians

- some are Total Barbarians. They have no idea how to chat in a calm way.

No idea how to behave - on or off TV, & so on.

Also, the Show is obsessed with 'Cheating'. About 70% of the Guests

are on because their Boy Friend/Girl Friend/Husband/Wife, MAY have

ALWAYS the SAME, when they cover 'Cheating'. Then, we often get

the good old, 'Lie Detector Test', so Kyle can give long pauses as he reads

the Results, from a Card - 'Was he/she telling the truth?'

 

The idiots who appear on his Show, must be really scrapping the barrel

to think that Kyle truly 'Cares' - he is a money making Ego, on 2 legs.

 

I think it is good that over 25,000 Digital Spy Posts have been made about

how AWFUL the Show is - it will stand as a telling & revealing 'Internet Monument',

as to how UNpopular the Man really is - and how he can wear all the nice suits

that he likes, but that does not give him - or his Show - any class whatsoever.

It is 100% phoney, & a vehicle for HIM to show off - when he has Zero

I used to watch Kyle when I was a student avoiding 9am lectures, but I had to give up not because of the lectures, but because Kyle just angered me.

 

The man has had very little experience in dealing with the vast majority of problems on his show; does he actualy hold any qualifications? I've heard from a few people, and again from Zeus there in his point, that he doesn't. Wasn't he a late night radio presenter, who was given the job after producers liked his ranting and raving?

Ranting and raving is pretty much all Kyle offers. Any practical advice he offers tends to be plain common sense that any guy off the street equally give; there seems to be very little thought involved. And as others have said here, I noticed a few occasions where he would immediately jump on the attack with certain guests without pausing to hear their side of the story first. HOW ON EARTH is this supposed to be "help", it's evidence that he's more concerened with generating reactions in his audience and guests than providing any meaningful insights.

Now I can't say for the background experts, as we rarely see them at work, but I think it would be interesting to go back to all the people who have appeared on this show and to ask them how many think Kyle himself actually helped them.

 

Put plain and simply the guy is NOT qualified to offer advice or guide people safely through the potentially damaging experience of baring all in front of millions.

1 he is a tv presenter... OF COURSE HES GOT AN EGO everyone in that position has!

 

2 of COURSE 'genius' only says what everyone knows, he does his real councelling behind the scenes!

 

3 shoat.... kyle DOESNT give advice, his team (qualified ) do

 

4 they dont get help in private because often they cant afford it, know how to get it, or have the willpower to stick to it! doing it in public gives them the motivation... ITS VOLUTNTARY.
