I went to the Gold Coast today (Ossy will know it) and drove around for a while and came home. A 5 hour round trip.

Well, after almost 4 weeks of investigations, BT have concluded that my phone line is c**p and struggles to support broadband. :rolleyes:

 

They are apparently going to try to upgrade it. When that will happen god only knows...... :(

Yes. I've decided to re-locate to rural Mongolia and become a yak farmer. I will erect one of those big tent things and live in it with my yaks. Then I will get a phoneline installed and get 8mb broadband.

 

I am living in a third world country it appears. The only place in the western world you can't get a broadband signal. :rolleyes:
