Edit- scratch that he's listed MLIP sales figure but it's not on front page so has it been included in the total? (since GA St Trinian's and Megamix count). Was also wondering what about any other cherrypicks, because they should all count towards their total single sales, although they individually won't be much as they are non-singles (this would apply to other bands too, though the previous MW figure suggests to me they don't include these routinely in total single sales/sales figures)?

MLIP was released as a digitally only single so therefore it should count towards Sugababes singles total. The megamix or St. Trinians weren't released as singles and if GA fans want to count ST as a single surely it should be counted as breaking GA's Top 10 streak but it isn't counted.

I didn't include MLIP. It wasn't a 'single' in my book. It wasn't sent to radio, it had no video, it wasn't promoted, it was literally only given to a few DJs. Obviously the total doesn't include any album track sales. :P

makes sense to me, its just for comparison/record purposes i wonder what counts. Very confusing these days, bring back the physical! :lol:

I've just gone through each page of this thread :lol: to try and find each lead singles opening sales does anyone have them?

I kept a record but it was only from WTW to present.

 

They used to be on Wiki but they have changed the page now which is annoying. Someone must know of some way to find out. Perhaps MW will divulge on Monday.

God no, lol. It sold 35-50k iirc

Dunno why but I was convinced Push The Button sold 70,000 on its first week :unsure: lol obviously not right. I'm certain I've seen them on here although it could be possibly be the first week album sales cause they definately are on here.

I'm sure ptb had 1 week at 77k or something, its sales were higher but not as sustained as AYN. Have this in a spreadsheet somewhere for the no1s, will try to dig out :)

Just realised, GS was only #3 on download chart last week! :o Thank f**k for the loyal physical buyers, so glad they've got their 1st #2!

f*** the covers :mellow: umm I'll see about getting them sorted tonight when I finish work :unsure: what will I have to do resize them all off wikipedia or something, need to sort out Get Sexy as well yet.

Done most of them got silly black lines though due to hmv will save time :lol: just the first 4 singles to find.
