I like their voices (I'd prefer if Siobhan wasn't SO prominent), I love his voice and the production is amazing. So for me is a pretty flawless song.

It's unbelievable these mere buzz tracks have been played by Radio 1 already. The's a great expectation surrounding their 'debut'.

Well there recording new music later this year, which is presumably going to be released so I assume they must be signed somewhere.

To their management, they don't have a record deal at all!

They are "signed" to some thing that Crown Music Management set up after they were dropped from yet another label, clearly because nobody else would take them. I believe Crown managed to get a distribution deal with Sony RCA which lead to them saying 'We've not been dropped it was only a distribution deal'. Which is complete shit. The fact that their management are now more involved than ever should tell you this project is completely doomed.

You don't need a record deal to be recording songs.

Ah I see, so technically they don't have a record deal, they only have a manager?

Yeah but I assumed that they would want to release it afterwards :P

Technically they are on a "record" label set up by their management as a home for the brand with a distribution deal with RCA, most likely just so they could cut their losses on the Album 8 campaign.

It's probably why they are starting again on the recordings as the stuff they did record is probably still owned by RCA and not by Crown Music.

Thank you for clearing it up for me.

In an interview they said they were going to keep writing and recording so that they could cherry pick the best songs but maybe that was PR talk and this was back in 2011

In interviews though they have consistently said that the end of this year will be when they release new music (e.g. Ewen's recent interview and last year Range said new music would be coming at the end of this year)

Maybe I'm just clutching at straws but I'm not willing to let the Sugababes just vanish haha

never seen this before.

That is a beautiful performance, the 2 girls have great chemistry. The "Mutya Is Ill" sign at the end though, hmmm... who is buying that? haha

Folkestone’s very own Sugababe Jade Ewen has launched a new Zumba-based fitness initiative with the help of Olympic gymnast Louis Smith.

With Zumba Fitness, the creators of the original zumba dance company, Ewen has launched the Great Carlorie Drive, aimed at helping people get fit while donating money to charity at the same time.

Working with the United Nations World Food Programme they are urging those attending Zumba classes to donate the number of calories burned to WFP through its free phone app.

Ewen said: “This campaign really does give the world a reason to dance. It was brilliant to hit the dance floor with Louis and shake and shimmy off 750 calories for The Great Calorie Drive launch at Pacha nightclub.

“Zumba classes are such a fun way to keep fit with friends, it feels like exercise in disguise. It’s such a simple idea but if enough people check into their local Zumba class, it can make a real difference to so many people.”

Smith MBE added: “I’m proud to have been a part of the launch of The Great Calorie Drive with Zumba Fitness. Hunger is still a big issue – not only on a global level – but also in our own country. I love the unique idea of donating your calories through dance and that’s just what Zumba Fitness is doing. Over the next three months they are donating the equivalent of 3.5 million meals to the World Food Programme, which will make a huge difference.”

Hi Guys,

I am new to this forum - so a big hello to everyone!

I have a few questions and I am hoping someone might be able to help me.

Is there a detailed discography of the Sugababes outlining what CDs were released in which country and their track listings? I am mainly interested in the Aussie releases.

If there isn't one, maybe someone could help me if the following CD singles were released in Australia along with their catalogue numbers?

Also, were any of the Sugababes singles in Australia released as a 2-part CD set?

Much appreciated.

Heidi India Range (born 23 May 1983) is a British singer and songwriter from Liverpool, England best known for being the longest-serving current member of the Sugababes. Range was an original member of girl group Atomic Kitten, although she left the group after three years before releasing any material. In 2001 Range replaced Siobhán Donaghy of the Sugababes and has since accumulated six UK number one singles as well as two number one studio albums with the group. As of 2011 the group went on a hiatus to pursue their own individual solo careers.

In 2007 FHM listed Range as the 94th sexiest woman in the world. The Sugababes have been on hiatus since 2011. Range participated in the 2012 series of Dancing on Ice. In March 2013 it was announced that Range would appear as a team captain on the ITV game show Totally Senseless, which is set to air in late 2013.

It's a Mike Stock (of S/A/W fame) track from before her joining the Sugababes recorded around circa 1999-2001.

So far he's released four tracks from those sessions under his Love This Records:

Change Your Wicked Ways

Bird In Flight

Money Can't Buy It

Everytime

Also, from the booklet:

Heidi Range has an exciting project coming up ;)

http://www.heatworld.com/images/118802_615x10000_STD/2013/6/heidirange_m.jpg

The Sugababes are on a break – although you’ve probably realised that for yourself what with them not actually releasing any new music in a long while.

However, we can expect to see more of Heidi Range in the coming months because she has an exciting new project in the pipeline.

“We've taken a break from the band, so we're not recording at the moment.

“I have something really exciting coming up. I'm not allowed to say yet, but it's getting announced tomorrow or next week,” Heidi told us at last night’s Wimbledon pre-party.

Oh, Heidi – you little tease. What ever are you up to?

Well, at the moment it would see going on lots of holidays.

“In the break I've just been enjoying myself. What I'm doing starts in January so I’m just going to relax and go on holiday,” says

“I am going away next week, I'm going to South of France and Italy. I think me and my sister and some friends are going to go to Ibiza. I have a few little different trips planned."

While the Sugababes are on hiatus, MKS (the three original Sugababes Keisha Buchanan, Siobhan Donaghy and Mutya Buena) are back, but Heidi says she’s on good terms with Keisha,

“It's not awkward. I saw Keisha at V last summer and we chatted, so if I bump into her we will say hi.”

We just wonder if there will ever be a chart battle between the two girl groups.
