Do we know how much the other sites other than iTunes contribute towards total sales? :unsure:

 

In 2006 iTunes was responsible for 37.6% of all legal download sales that year in the UK. I don't know what the breakdown of other sites were/are, but you can see why iTunes is a great indicator for how download sales are going as it is the most dominant site.

I don't think RTW is Take That's best song (nothing will better Patience) but its a heck of a lot more listenable than Leona's histrionics! And at least the lads have a personality - Leona has the personality of my Teflon frying pan! She brings to mind that Simply Red song "Your Beautiful But Oh So Boring" :lol: :lol: :lol:

One is exactly the same as the number 2 version (the radio edit), and the other one is from the soundtrack 'Stardust'. Interestingly that version is a minute longer than the normal radio edit.

And I've listened to her interviews ... I'd rather have a conversation with my cat and my cat's been dead for the past five years :lol: :lol: :lol:

 

Seriously .... she's got a good, nay, great singing voice but the song is way overrated. But good on her - if she can have this kind of success with a mediocre song like Bleeding Love - just imagine what she could do with a good one!

If it was by a singer with an equally good voice who'd not been on X-Factor it wouldn't sell 10% of what it will sell. It's only a huge seller because of the amout of promotion she's had in the last 12 months.

Oh Jim please! Just because a song gets to number one doesn't diminish its mediocrity. Think of a load of c**p songs in the past that have kept good songs from getting to number one! Are you saying every song that has got to number one is great?

hardly.....shes been away for about 9 of them recording an album!
