I went through stages with Mimi, when I first bought it I was the same I only used to listen to:

It's Like That

We Belong Together

Shake It Off

Mine Again

Stay The Night

Then my mind changed again to:

It's Like That

We Belong Together

Your Girl

Joy Ride

Then again to:

We Belong Together

Your Girl

Joy Ride

Fly Like A Bird

Get Your Number

Circles

Then the re-release was released and now I listen to them all however it does pain me to listen to To The Floor, the only bad song on the album in my opinion -_-

I dont think To The Floor is a bad song, its a weak song on a really strong album. Its got a good beat to it  and Mariah's bit is good

I just hate the rapping in it, which ruins the great vocals, much like Don't Stop on the Glitter album, Mariahs vocals are flawless on that track, but the rapping ruins it for me :puke2:
The rapping doesn't really bother me, as im a fan of hip hop. The only song of hers where the rapping annoys me is the fantasy remix with odb, even thought it made her the first person to get a rapper on an already existing track and became iconic :P

Yeah that annoys me too, especially since that's the one she performs on the Tour DVD's I have <_<
the version she did on the Charmbracelet tour has him in as well :(

She even used it on Dick Clarks new years eve party, she played the opening of Fantasy at the start, but just the ODB part, I was unsure whether she did it because it was in New York, which ODB mentions, whether she likes it, or whether it was to honour his death in 2005

Im not sure, the only songsd of his I liked was 'Got Ya Money' with Kelis and 'Blah Blah Blah' on Brooke Valentine's album. Then again, I understand that he was quite iconic.

She must like it if she uses so much, but maybe it's a mix of all the 3 you mentioned

I mean I understand that Mariah likes to fuse genres etc, but to go from liking something so soulful like Aretha Franklin, to liking something so raw in ODB seems pretty obscure to me, mind you this is coming from a Mariah Carey and a Fightstar fan :P

oh yay :cheer:

whats call out hook
