October 10, 200717 yr Winning a talent show is only another way to get your break though! It's no different than approaching a label with a demo, other than the fact that it's safer for the label because they know their new act has public backing. And besides, GA are one of the few talent show-produced acts to shake off their tag and talent show history. Someone that talks sense ^_^

October 10, 200717 yr And? They can sing and they make good pop music! Sure, nothing they do as deep as the Sugababes' best ballads. They're uptempos aren't as feel-good, they're less credible, their music isn't as good - but they're not bad by any means.
October 11, 200717 yr ga wouldn't be together without it!!! thats my damned point!!!!!!!! they didn't know who each other were before that bloody series Thats PATHETIC! So what if Girls Aloud wouldnt have known each other without Popstars The Rivals? Sugababes wouldnt be the band they are now if two members hadnt left - Amelle and Heidi didnt know the other girls before joining but does that stop them from being talented and a being succesfull? ... No. Girls Aloud, along with Leona (at this moment) are two of the biggest acts in the UK and are both making succesfull comebacks with loads of public support. With or without X Factor, Leona's debut single sold 800,000 copies and Girls Aloud have sold over 4.7 million records and are one of the most photographed bands around - THATS what makes those acts big names. Whether or whether not YOU think they're good enough is totally irrelevant.
October 11, 200717 yr Is it me or has "Change" been deleted from iTunes (UK) as I can't access it  Edited October 11, 200717 yr by JammerD
October 11, 200717 yr To the person who said Leona is the 2nd biggest act in the country - shes really not at all - I havent heard her song once and im a massive pop fan.
