The fifth poll is over.

 

Before the official results, here are the news:

 

1. Beyonce f/ Shakira - Beautiful Liar

The song has managed to be fifth equal (with three other songs!), yay! So, the song is now officially retired and will definetely be moving to the semis. As promised, five points will be awarded for retiring, one point for being 5th in RR5 and they will have one more poll where it will come from the retiree poll - where you rate the song. The score with the majority votes will be added (for example: if the majority votes goes to "7", 7 points will be added to the song's score).

 

2. Four-way tie and replacement

I am not sure how that is possible, but it is a new record. It is now in a situation where I have to eliminate SEVEN songs if there is a clear Top 5. Normally, the song after the fifth place would take over. In this case, "Timbaland - The Way I Are". However, because there are three songs (excluding the retired song) in fifth equal, that speaks for the sixth place altogether (in terms of ties and stuff). Timbaland would technically be placed ninth, so that song will be eliminated - sorry about this.

 

3. Rihanna - Umbrella

This is the FINAL poll for Rihanna - Umbrella, as the song reached its fifth poll. So, if the song is in the Top 5, it will be retired and of course, it will be considered for semi-finals. But, as a reward for being retired, the song will get extra 5 points (for retiring), something from the bonus retiree poll, and their placing points from RR6. If the song does not get into the Top 5, the song will get 2 points instead (for being in the poll five times).
