The 22 year old singer has enjoyed a successful partnership with the management company which has helped her to UK sales in excess of double platinum, however she is said to hold Empire responsible for a problematic year which saw her US work permit revoked and subsequent assault on the all important market hindered as a result. Empire, which is run headed up by Neale Easterby and Richard Ramsey, boasts a roster which includes Natasha and Daniel Bedingfield, Nick Harrison, The Feeling, Underground Heroes and producers of the moment Paul Epworth and Future Cut. The co-directors have wished the singer well in her future career. Allen has invited personal manager Adrian Jolly, who joined Empire with the singer alongside other acts including The Feeling in 2006, to leave the firm with her and Jolly is currently considering his options. Allen is currently working on her second studio album, due for a 2008 release.
