Posted October 11, 200717 yr Lily Allen has got thousands of music fans across the world but it looks like she has found one more admirer in actor Stephen Fry. The TV personality co-stars with the singer in her forthcoming film debut, Jane Austen Handheld, a spoof version of Pride and Prejudice. The quick-witted comic revealed he has known Lily since she was a little girl because he is good friends with her actor dad Keith Allen. In fact, the pop star comes from a family of film talent. Her dad starred in cult classic Shallow Grave, her mum Alison was Oscar-nominated for her production work on Cate Blanchett's Elizabeth and her younger brother Alfie has appeared in several movies. Fry thinks the Smile star will do well in her new actress role: "I think she'll be splendid. If she's inherited anything from her father she'll be wonderful."
