October 17, 200717 yr To be honest there is not one decent goalie in England. Robsinon is useless for sure, but David James is no better. Robinson and James are, IMO, not in our top 4 keepers. They should be Green, Carson, Foster and Kirkland. Robinson and James should be nowhere near the England Starting XI.

What :blink: England have the best squad in their group and should have qualified with ease. It's amazing that he has managed to not get Egland out of an easy group. Playing 4 centre backs tonight, which was blatantly obvious if you saw how many times they were all squashed together in the box, leading to pinball rather than football. Picking players for their name and not their form.

October 17, 200717 yr We're not out yet. We've still the upper hand. Yes Russia still have "easier" games to play and more games to play, but they've got to win them both if England beat Croatia. England were expected to walk all over Macedonia and did we? England's mind should just be focused on getting the 3 points again Croatia and not bothering about what the Russia results are. England were by far the better team today, with a depleted first XI and players out of form and on an artifical pitch that we've had 1 training session on. Considering they fact they should never have had a penalty it would have been 1-1, but that's football, some go for you and others go against you. It may actually be a good thing not to qualify too. It'll make the FA realise what a $h!te youth set up England have and how the top clubs especially should develop and use their academy more.
