I don't have a problem with Britney.... and I agree she should be higher on the list replacing the dross pop of Nicole. Avril or Leona.. but comparing Britney to Amy or Pete is ludicrous as they are totally different musical styles... Amy and Pete are reflecting other peoples tastes that aren't pop lovers..

 

I believe Radio 1 try and get a cross section of music on their playlists... and this is why only a certain number of pop, indie, dance get listed in each playlist.

 

 

 

Yet another week without any dance additions, yet the so-called fast-paced and innovative concept of Radio 1 thinks rubbish like Stinkin' Fart and Boreroom 5 are still vital listening... and Kaiser Chiefs 15-mins-of-fame novelty-ness should be well over by now... I think I'm beginning to hate Radio 1 these days.

It makes me really angry that Radio 1 has snubbed Britney :rolleyes: They always have. Gimme More has been getting rave reviews around the world and is clearly a fantastic track yet they just let it rot on the C list. Fair enough, Britney's reputation might not be squeeky clean, but they soon A List the likes of Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty who are out and about drug users! I just hope she gets to Number One!

 

Ironic really since Britney is no more level-headed then the likes of Pete and Amy. I'm sure Britney has dabbled in her fair share of illegal substances, but I think it's made worse by being manufactured as someone who is supposedly a conventional pop princess!

Britney dosen't deserve to be higher on the playlist it is not that good a song and she deserves to be snubbed just like she snubbed her kids.

I don't understand why Leona is R1 playlisted at all - she is pure R2 material.

She has *not* snubbed her kids - she loves them, but she seems unable to make the connection between clearing her act up, and regaining joint custody.

I didn't know you knew Britney. All the things she does to keep the children, shes f***ed up

and it's because of people like you that she's not mentally stable.

You don't know her personally either. She chose to be famous so she needs to expect people are going to talk about her whether it be good or bad. So don't blame people like me for her mental stability
