Oh ho...that's a very, very famous instrumental tune - I'm sure you'd recognise if you heard it.

A great record - reached the top 30 in the UK I think. I must say I'm much more impressed with the Australian number ones in general!

(Also quite alarmed how young everyone is compared to me!)

To HIGHLANDER69...You were born on Thursday 20th March 1969..the chart changed on Tuesdays. In those days, Alan Freeman did a rundown at 12.30, on Radio 1. It would have been the chart of Tuesday the 18th March 69...so it was PETER SARSTEDT!

Nooooo!!!!Please don't make it be Peter whatshisname!!

I'll just adopt Marvin Gaye as my birthday No.1

I suppose it's down to the chart being "Week Beginning" or "Week Ending"

When I first got into the charts in 1981, Radio 1 would play the Top 5 on Tuesday at 1245 and do the countdown playing No.1 at 1pm. That countdown was repeated at 6pm by Peter Powell and then broadcast on Sunday on Radio 2's frequency after "Sing something simple"

I only know my UK number 1 for January 7th 1987...my number one was Jackie Wilson - Reet Petite!!!!

2Unlimited - No Limits

DANCE CLASSIC! haha!!!!!

All together now...

No, No, No no no no no, no no no no, no there's no limit!! haha

Sorry it wasnt what i said before!

Here are the real answers! Sorry! lol

A friend of mine says the song that was No.1 on the day you were born can have a profound effect on your life!

On the day Heather Mills was born (12th Jan 1968) it was Hello Goodbye by The Beatles!

March 1985. 'You Spin Me Round' by Dead or Alive. And I love that song too.
