October 21, 200719 yr Bloody annoying. I'd massacre the 'lovely' girl in question for inspiring this. :(
October 21, 200719 yr Does anyone else think that She's So Lovely sounds like a McFly knock-off? It's just an incredibly poor song about a girl that Mcfly would do, but a lot worse.
October 21, 200719 yr 13 (from 49) The Killers - Tranquilize [D] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/1753071.JPG Chart Run: 49-13 [2 wks] Release date: 5-11-2007 Availability: available for pre-order Catalogue Number: 1753071 Label: MERCURY 'Tranquilize' first made an appearance during sessions for 'Sam's Town'. The band picked it up again this summer during a break in their 'Sam's Town' touring schedule, approaching former Velvet Underground leader Lou Reed for vocal duties and getting together with him in a New York studio with 'Sam's Town' producers Flood and Alan Moulder last month. As Brandon told NME recently, "We were thrilled to be able to work with Lou Reed. The song required a duet and his voice was just right. The sentiment of the song is very him." 'Tranquilize' is taken from 'Sawdust', The Killers' b-sides and rarities album. - HMV Video here: 3qCKlMxWV0Y track listing 1. Tranquilize 2. Etched Artwork B-Side Odd rock for the best band of this decade and clearly inspired by the sound the Lou Reed's old band The Velvet Underground. My guess is this tune will make the top 5 but will not become the bands biggest hit.
