Posted October 26, 200717 yr Lily Cancels On Ronson British singer LILY ALLEN has snubbed her producer MARK RONSON by skipping a gig where she was due to perform - to party with friends. The Smile star - who is dating Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons - was billed to appear at a north London venue on Wednesday (24Oct07) with the rising music producer but pulled out at the last minute. She was then spotted enjoying a night out with pals on the other side of the city. Ronson - who produced some of Allen's songs on her debut album Alright, Still - told the crowd, "My friend Lily was supposed to be here but she cancelled last minute."
December 6, 200717 yr Lily Allen has reportedly snubbed Mark Ronson from working on her new album. The music producer claimed that Allen won't return his calls and suggested that they may not be friends anymore. Ronson told The Sun: "Lily has been working on her new album, but I’m probably not going to be on it as she hasn’t been returning any of my calls. "Most of the people I work with, I’m lucky enough to be friends with too. But then you never really know what’s going to happen after." Ronson helped to produce Allen's debut album Alright, Still and collaborated with the singer on a cover of the Kaiser Chiefs single 'Oh My God'. Allen did not appear at Ronson's Electric Proms gig to perform the collaboration but Ronson denies that her no-show has caused a rift. He added: "She didn’t come but she had another commitment and she explained why and it’s fine. "I’m not going to lie and say I wasn’t disappointed - but it’s not like she just didn’t show up or something."
