Posted October 27, 200717 yr First why didn't anyone start one earlyer lol Todays results Birmingham 3-2 Wigan Chelsea 6-0 Man City Man Utd 4-1 Middlesbrough Reading 2-1 Newcastle Sunderland 1-1 Fulham Kicking off nowish Portsmouth V Westham So today was a shock for manchester united, the first time this season that they are playing on a saturday with a 3pm kickoff, don't expect to see one of those again anytime soon. And another defeat for Norwich (2-0 at west brom) leaves them bottom of the championship. Norwich appear to be another former top flight team who have imploded in resent years, and look like they will be leaving the championship through the basement door, rather than climbing the lader to the premier league. So debate of the week, will Norwich become another team like Nottingham Forest, Leeds and Bradford (i think it was them it might be something else with a B) who will be left dreaming of better days?
October 27, 200717 yr First why didn't anyone start one earlyer lol Presumably because nobody was around? Hopefully now this will spark a REAL title race. I'm not sure what result would be best in the Arsenal-Liverpool encounter tomorrow but finally the season is showing some potential!
October 27, 200717 yr because I was at a record signing :funky: How dare Man Utd win  and  at Man City. No doubt there will be a minority of sad City fans calling for Sven's head
October 27, 200717 yr Presumably because nobody was around? Hopefully now this will spark a REAL title race. I'm not sure what result would be best in the Arsenal-Liverpool encounter tomorrow but finally the season is showing some potential! Arsenal win. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than Liverpool going further to completely cocking up this season.
October 27, 200717 yr Southend 0-1 Carlisle. :cheer: I was there, what a tense ending. The referee was absolute rubbish in my opinion, our goalkeeper wasn't on the ball early on either. Despite this, Carlisle won so I am happy. :cheer: Edited October 27, 200717 yr by Flatcap
October 27, 200717 yr BTW - Hull City 1 - 1 Shef Wed B) :smoke: Eh? I'm sure they won today. I remember Sheffield going 2-1 up so that can't be right!

October 27, 200717 yr Arsenal will be beat Liverpool tomorrow. Could be a high scoring match if Torres plays, otherwise Arsenal will stroll all over the Liverpool defence. Hyypia's way past it now.

October 27, 200717 yr Bit nervy seeing United and Chelsea knocking in all those goals but if we can get seven in a Champions League game I believe we are good enough to beat Liverpool and carry on the good lead we have at the moment. Surprised City didn't put up more of a fight.. considering they are above Chelsea anyway.... (are? were?...are.)
October 28, 200717 yr Arsenal will be beat Liverpool tomorrow. Could be a high scoring match if Torres plays, otherwise Arsenal will stroll all over the Liverpool defence. Hyypia's way past it now. I hope Hyypia plays, and Sissoko, they are useless. I don't think we'll win though, Liverpool will be desperate to win as they'll be effectively out of the title race if they lose so they'll want it more. Hopefully Walcott starts and runs rings around Liverpool's defence.
October 28, 200717 yr Author Results today Derby 0-2 Everton, no big shock Aston Villa 1-1 Bolton not shocking Dundee United 2-1 Rangers big shock :o Current scores Spurs 1-0 Blackburn (Keane Penelty) Liverpool 1-0 Arsenal :o (Gerard)
October 28, 200717 yr and you also forgot portsmouth 0 west ham 0 from yesterday but that was a good result for us, and that penalty save at the end proves that rob green is arguably england's no 1 right now
October 28, 200717 yr Author and you also forgot portsmouth 0 west ham 0 from yesterday but that was a good result for us, and that penalty save at the end proves that rob green is arguably england's no 1 right now west ham shouldn't even be in the premier league! Anyway Blackburn have equalised against Spurs, McCarthy scoring his forth goal in three games to bring blackburn back into it. Up in Scotland looks like uefa cup hangover for Aberdeen who are 1-1 against Falkirk with 5minuets left
October 28, 200717 yr many people predict martyn for your information that we will finish in a european position this year and by the way some more results for you blackburn beat tottenham 2-1 and liverpool lead arsenal at the break 1-0
October 28, 200717 yr Author and the miserary continues for Spurs, a late strike from Christopher Samba, gives Blacburn a 2-1 win, and thats another injury time goal consideded leading to a loss for Spurs. Blackburn go 5th but will drop to 6th if Liverpool hold on and beat Arsenal.
October 28, 200717 yr Maybe a year in the Championship will do us good :manson: :manson: Shake these f***in overpaid prima donna pansies into action when they are taking the club for granted atm and picking up nice fat pay checks to buy another Ferrari or whatever Spineless gutless pricks the whole f***in lot of them
October 28, 200717 yr Liverpool 1 - 1 Arsenal final score... Great game today! A draw was a fair result in the end, both teams had chances to win the games [Arsenal the more clear cut though] and they wasted them. Losing Alonso to injury on the field was a big blow to Liverpool, when he went off Arsenal seemed to get their act together again and take control of the game.
