God knows why, I hate the record LOL

Itunes is rubbish, I tried Monday and Tuesday last week to download britney's album but it wasn't on there until wednesday, i emailed them complaining they replied saying that it's updated on a tuesday night. I sent a message back saying well it's stupid when singles are out on a monday and i could go buy it in the shops losing you money, she said i don't know what you want me to do!!!!!

I hope Spice Girls' new single is in tomorrow's iTunes main page, or it will flop badly this first week.

 

It's not advertised in any digital store, and still not available in many of them as Tesco or Woolworths online.

 

Not surprising not seeing it yet in itunes chart with all this mess.

It always seems to struggle the first day or so. For instance you couldn't find Leona's single for much of the first day if you searched for it.

but then leona's single was on itunes after she performed on x factor the night of the world cup final to get bigger sales. her bubble will burst soon, look at shayne ward? seems like his record company doesn't care about him, leona had a year off and shayne should have capitalised on that but he's still not an established name in the world of pop

I wouldn't have a clue what happened after the World Cup Final, but on the Sunday like with the Spice Girls track you couldn't find the Bleeding Love track if you searched for it. There was a discussion on the forum at the time about it. Think it's something to do with the way iTubes updates on each individual's computer - that's also why you get different people seeing different positions for a single song. Think it takes a couple of days for a new track to fully work its way into the system.

I don't know but it is slow out of the traps for a new digital release.

 

For example I've checked I-Tunes, 7Digital, HMV, Woolworths & Tesco online sites & the Spice Girls single is only currently available on HMV & 7Digital sites.

 

Whilst the new releases today by Kylie & Duran Duran are available to purchase on all five of those sites.

you'd think iTunes being the biggest download place they would be professional and update first thing Monday morning and capitalise on sales and profits? and customer service, maybe i'm being thick and missing something though

I thinks it's not that bad after only a few hours... Kylie's single was available yesterday evening. They've just been added to the main page.

 

It's at #85 in HMV as well, while Kylie's not in the top 100.

 

Could you please keep us updated as it climbs? My iTunes seems to take ages to update....

 

im surprised its taken the spice girls this long to get on :P

I reckon it will climb quite quick now though
