Leona's is as bland as they come :(

Leona, why would I want SG Greatest Hits when I have both of their albums somewhere with those songs on? Headlines and Voodoo suck so it's not worth buying IMO.

And i refuse to buy Leona's album as she's just an overated, new Whitney Houston who was made to look good on a talent show where she had no competition.

leona is going to be a present for my sister, spice girls will be bought between myself and my girlfriend in the local shopping at tesco ( clubcard points also) :cheer:

Leona will outsell SG like MAD, if only their GH had more stuff from that lazy attempt.

I'm gonna buy Spices 2moro.

But hold off on Leona. I have it on my ipod so I dunno really. It's a good album but I may wait a while before I buy it.

I haven't much dosh for the rest of this month and Kylie is my top priority in two weeks time.

Spice Girls - definitely.

 

Leona - I will try to use the listening booth thingy in HMV & hear if it is any good before deciding. (Like I did with Britney's surprisingly excellent Blackout album. A great modern dance-pop album which I would highly recommend). But the reviews I've read are suggesting I won't be parting with my cash to help make Simon Cowell even more richer.

Forget Leona, She will have her time in the future, Spice Girls deserve to get a nice send off, a nice goodbye.

They came back for the fans and the only reason they have a single is for us. None of them were too keen to have a single but they rushed and wrote a pretty good song, nt g8 as the their past classics, but a good effort.

I am DEFINITELY gonna buy the Spice Girls Greatest hits, plus I heard Leona's album is cr*p, only the current single is her best from the entire album.

 

P.S. whoever thinks voodoo is cr*p has NO taste, it is better than headlines and far better than any dancy pop singles that are out there.

Lol? Spice Girls deserve a nice send off? They already have that with their sold out tours. You'd have to be stupid or a real fan to spend money on a Greatest Hits album when you already have all their past albums and the two new songs are as bland as they are.

 

I don't know why people are so obsessed with this idea of "deserving" things in music. It's not about who deserves what.

Neither ... for now. I was thinking of getting the Spices for a stocking filler for hubby but he's told me he'd rather have Amy Winehouse ... so I'll probably buy a couple of her albums. Plus the Jake Thackray one I mentioned in an earlier thread.
