PJ Proby - There is a vid of him on you tube singing this.

It looks like X-Factor is trying to stitch up Leon with Same Difference in the bottom two.

The other four are good song choices, especially Hope (although I wonder how they'll manage the vocals) & Rhydian's song selections:

Barbra Streisand - Somewhere (1985 US#3)

Rhydian will be good at that one I expect :cheer:

I too wish X Factor would have a rock week. Just for a change. It's the same old same old every friggin series. Oh and 'Power of Love' by Jennifer Rush is in my Top 10 worst songs ever. :puke2:

Same Difference doing Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now is a brilliant choice in my opinion. They did the song at Simon's luxury house week and it was really good! I'm so glad to hear them do this song with all the backing track behind it and everything!!!

If Same Difference win, i wonder if the tracklisting will be:

1. When You Believe

2. Breaking Free

3. Nothings Gonna Stop Us

All the inspirational, aspiring songs

Confirmed songs are:

Beverley Trotman – Without You

Niki Evans – The Power of Love

Same Difference – Nothing's Gonna To Stop Us Now

Rhydian Roberts – Somewhere

Leon Jackson – You Don't Know Me

Hope – Hurt

Beverley - Wrong choice. It's like asking Anastacia to sing Whitney Housten, not going to work.

Niki - Meh.

Same Differenece - Dosn't surprise me.

Rhydian - Is it that 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' song?

Leon - Meh.

Hope - ooo. :o A Christina Aguilera song at last, but is Hurt really a love song?

Beverly and Hope will be in the bottom #2 on Saturday, Beverley won't hold well and Hope will struggle. IF I think it's the song Rhydian is singing, then I think it'll sound quite good. Niki and Leon are just Meh's, and with Same Difference it's going to look like insest onstage. :/ As it always does. -_-

Hurt's the weakest track out of all those, it's just not recognisable enough, and Hope could suffer for it.

I've a feeling Niki will ace The Power Of Love; she does have a similar voice to Jennifer Rush I think.

X Factor girl group Hope have rejected Simon Cowell's advice in favour of making their own song choice.

Cowell, the group's mentor, wanted his proteges to attempt a Supremes song, but the girls insisted that they wanted to sing something "more contemporary".

After winning their battle with the music mogul, the all-female five-piece will sing Christina Aguilera's 'Hurt' on Saturday's live show.

Hope have also taken charge of their styling this week, after objecting to the seventies-style outfits they were asked to wear for last week's performance of 'Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)'.

We'll see if it pays off :kink:

Hope doing Christina will be a DISASTER. They just haven't got the voices to pull off Hurt. Hopefully they finally go out - talentless girls who Simon only uses as his sex toys, it would be a complete disgrace if they won.
It's going to be quite interesting. I wonder if they can turn it into a burlesque type song like they did with Amy Winehouse.
Hope have been fighting during their X Factor rehearsals, say reports.

Charlie Mole walked out of a practice session with the girl group because she was fed up with Phoebe Brown being given all the lead vocals.

Brown, who was praised by the judges for her performance last week, has been given the lead vocals on the group's version of 'Hurt' by Christina Aguilera, which they will perform on Saturday.

The decision to allow Brown another chance to sing lead has reportedly angered Mole, who has dubbed the all-girl group "Phoebe and the Woo Woo girls".

Fellow X Factor contestants Futureproof previously claimed that the members of Hope detested each other.

It's all going downhill for them

(Sorry for the constant digital spy quotes :kink:)

Just read a very interesting MSN article entitled "Juke Box Fury" and peoples very interesting responses to it, especially about the X Factor.

The decision to allow Brown another chance to sing lead has reportedly angered Mole, who has dubbed the all-girl group "Phoebe and the Woo Woo girls".

Don't worry, it worked for Nicole and the rest of the Pussycat Dolls. :P

The reason Phoebe sings lead is because the others are even worse than her. Maybe they should boot Phoebe out and let her replace Emily. Then we'll see how long it is before Hope fall flat on their faces.
