I only based it on the albums I've got or listened to and know, so thate excludes Westlife & Kylie.

My fave went to Britney, but I also loveee Rihanna's, Suga's, Girls Aloud's and Mika's is alright too. The worst out of that lot I think is Amerie, it's literally got about 4 good songs on it, such a shame :(

Best - Leona Lewis - Spirit

Worst - Kelly Clarkson - My December (BY FAR)

Britney & Girls Aloud are my favourite albums of the year, but tbh I haven't enjoyed a lot of 2007's music, it's not been a great year IMO :(

Kelly got my worst, I'm afraid - I wanted to much from it, and it didn't deliver. Nicely written lyrics but just completely boring to listen to, I see no reason why beautiful lyrics can't be accompanied by a melody, rather than just dull background noise. I expect I'd have given my vote to Westlife or Amerie if I'd paid to listen to them, though.

Such a stupid list, the inclusion of Westlife is so transparent too, every other album is female (Mika doesn't count really does he? :P)... then Westlife just happen to be there. :/ Okay, because I am sure the mainstream of this site bought that album... thats your target audience is it not?

For me, The Reminder is the best pop album of the year, it's a brilliantly produced pop record and the melancholy of it is great. Nothing on that list has stood out to me as its the usual fodder.

worst is Kate Nash :puke2:

Favourite: Namie Amuro - PLAY

Well it isn't really pop, but it is hip-pop [she is the self proclaimed Queen of Hip Pop xD.] Anyway, the album just oozes absolute quality, easily one of the best albums of the decade. It's sexy and bold, while at the same time beautiful and meaningful. Some tracks are absolutely hypnotic, and will suck you in and not let go :lol: The production values are stunning, and of course Namie herself is on top form, her voice purring over the tracks, demanding respecting and maintaining control throughout. Everyone must listen, otherwise you will die unhappy D;

One of the best albums of her illustrious career, and infinitely superior to the awesome 2005 comeback 'Queen of Hip Pop'

Least Favourite: Rihanna - Good Girl Gone Bad

Seriusly, wtf is this? It's just awful  so reptitive and boring, while it obviously tries to be something different. There is no personality shown at all, and it instead becomes an album of her producers rather than a Rihanna album. i seriously cannot stand a single track on it. Dirrrge </3.

From those I've heard...

01: Girls Aloud - Tangled Up

02: Britney Spears - Blackout

03: Leona Lewis - Spirit

04: Kate Nash - Made Of Bricks

05: Sugababes - Change

06: Rihanna - Good Girl Gone Bad

07: Mika - Life In Cartoon Motion

Haven't heard the others, so I voted Mika obviously.

Kate Nash, from that list.

re. the Girls Aloud album - they've surpassed themselves with this one. No, not the content... the cover.

WHO designs Girls Aloud's artwork?! The Greatest Hits album is the ugliest album cover EVER.. and this one for Tangled Up looks so cheap and nasty, like a cut-price compilation album you'd pick up for under a fiver in Woolies.

Off topic, I know, but jeeeez... these girls need some art direction.
