Trying to decide between the two.

Currently i am swayed towards Don't Stop Looking

both are good  she is one of Pixie's top friends!

:o

i want a VI recount!!

I have no regrets, it is my highest finish after all  bloody quotosibb.......

 We like our win, I haven't been in the top 3 since then. :(

what did Kylienips give it do you know? it's No.1 in Mart!n's chart

He gave it nothing. I still have the results table saved to my computer from when I was playing along the first time. I love how people are being questioned over it if they charted it. I gave it 7 points, it'd be 10 if we did a revote but oh well, I didn't snub at the time.

indeed  and Smack Me/Cilmi :kink:

ah of course, Afternoon Avec Amelle's theme tune. and Miss Cilmi  A dvd of her singing the Rontvian phonebook was released in Ashton last week and sold 5.88million copies :o

SugaRecordings hope to release it in Rontvia on Monday

Neither have i

Pah! boo bah humbug @ Martin.

Not to take your win away from you, but on a recount it would be a lot closer. I still  Black Butta.

Oh right. :o We both had our best result in VI then.

Of course it would be, "Black Butta" is one of the weaker winners (despite being my favourite of course) and Lily is on the verge of a major hit. I guess some people are being trend followers now it's the lead single and it's going to #1. The BJSC makes me feel so ahead of the times sometimes, "The Fear" will always be a BJSC entry called "I Don't Know" to me.

 it's just odd that you can suddenly go from finding a song unworthy of even giving one point to, for it to suddenly top your personal chart the minute it becomes a hit single

fair point, it got to No.4 in my chart and I only gave it 6 points, but it's far from my favourite Lily Allen song...

obviously there is scope for it to grow though, I found nothing good about Just Dance in VII, but I rectified this in the Best Of, by which time it had eventually grown on me :D

same issue with a couple of songs really...Shontelle's T-Shirt was snubbed by loads of people but they all love it now...I gave it 7 or 8 points

 at all of this...Gabriella's phonebook singing was historic  the Rontvian public will lap it up!

I would complain about Rontvian entries being under appreciated but the ones that had/have any sort of being future UK hits (Love Song, Boys & Girls, M.A.G.I.C.) all came top 3, so I can't moan really...Thermostatic's Driving isn't exactly screaming 'UK #1' is it

I might be a tad bit annoyed if Miss Blue or Headhunted became hits here though :o

I think it's my favourite Lily Allen song now.

It's definitely odd, but it certainly happens. I gave "I Kissed A Girl" and "Just Dance" nothing but they reached #10 and #1 in my chart.

I think I gave Shontelle a 5 and although that seems low, I doubt I'd increase that now because BJSC X was very high standard.

I will still always prefer Smile, my ultimate summer anthem of 2006, which was an excellent summer, it just holds great memories for me

I gave IKAG ten I think, and it reached No.4 in my chart...Just Dance got nothing and it reached No.7 in my chart, but I did come round to liking it a couple of months after BJSCVII, as opposed to suddenly started liking it as soon as it hit the UK music channels/radio

"Smile" is really good but I always liked "LDN" better I did manage to pretty miss out on who Lily Allen was though. I must have been under a rock in 2006.

I'm not sure why I didn't give them anything, I don't think I ever disliked them, I just found IKAG over rated and thought Lady GaGa sounded a bit like Ashlee Simpson. :heehee:

I still remember the morning in February when jo Whiley played 'LDN' as her pet sound whilst I was on study leave from school - It was the most curious yet amazing song I'd heard in a long time and for that I've always loved it (esp the original vid  )

I think people subconsciously avoid voting for the songs which are viewed as the favorites a lot of the time, I'm not sure why. I'm totally responsible for it too! P!nk, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga all received very low if any votes from me yet I like all of them

It really is quite amazing, I wish I had more song experiences like that. I should listen to the radio more often.

Oh yeah, I think I do that at times. If it comes to narrowing my last few down I'll often go for the lesser favourites if I can't separate them for any other reason.

the original video is far better than the second video, it's so adorable to see her cycling around London on a very low budget! I adored LDN too...in fact Alright Still is one of my all time favourite albums, so the new album has an awful lot to live up to

I actually gave So What 3 points, but that was fair enough as I did still prefer all of the other songs that I voted above it, I wouldn't say So What's one of my favourite songs...I gave I Kissed A Girl 10 points, Paparazzi got 10 as well, I didn't like Just Dance at the time...

I certainly wouldn't shy away from voting for the favourites, hence my top points going to Release Me, Ice and When Did I Become Such A B*tch, because they were my 3 favourite songs

not that you get much better than 1st....

Exactly <_<

Bandwagon Jumper! Pah!"

Just Dance got sweet fa from me. Then it came 11th in my TBO vote coz it grew, now i pure  it.

Still not too keen on Paparazzi.

Sorted, SugaRecording will release it on Monday, it comes with a bonus disc from her Ashtonise Tour.

B&G

i would be well annoyed if Lorelei/RBW became big in the future and every charted them high. Same goes for if Alex flops. I can see 2009 belonging to her and Pixie

  • Author

 I have everything crossed for Pixie and Alex, and Red Blooded Women, but I think that they probably have less chance of success...

probably all three will flop though

no doubt, although i do hope they make it.

it would be quite nice to see RBW do well, so i can pull out the YMYB 7' EP and the Red Blooded EP both of which are limited :kink:
