Are you really considering Flo Rida? :o Great song, just seems a little odd after your anti-'cheapness' ranting during BJSCXIV.

Would easily get points from me though. It's really fantastic. o.o Who woulda thunk it.

probably not but I'm currently loving it and I want it reserved as a back up just incase I go off one of the other songs I have in contention and I have to choose something at the last minute...the chance of me actually sending it to the BJSC is about 1 in 10 -_-

I don't care about cheapness anymore, I'm stepping out of these arguments as they were upsetting people and I made an apology about it somewhere in another thread...I've come to realise that if people are sending a song becuase they truly love it, as opposed to wanting to win with it, then fair enough...which is why Love Game seems perfectly acceptable to me now, I'm assuming it is one of FunMaker's favourite songs of the moment...

I don't think Flo Rida is that cheap. "Right Round" is still rather fresh here and we aren't due to get "Sugar for a while surely? Flo Rida isn't exactly majorly liked and the last (imo, excellent) entry from Wynter Gordon didn't set the contest on fire.

this was my reasoning too actually, although I can see how it could be seen as cheap, he's No.1 in the UK with another song, and this is obviously a future No.1

maybe I only have it reserved to stop somebody after an easy win reserving it instead, you'll never know :kink:

Sugar is stunning, best rap song of the year quite easily

What would happen if you chose Janet over Uh Huh Her? :heehee:

DNQ and then I'd win XV instead obviously to keep up my pattern :smoke:

What happened to the rule 'I don't use artists who have been entered not by me before'? ;o

how long will I be able to keep this one up!!! eventually I'll run out of artists :heehee:

His new one is quite good, but, Low is epic

But only in a club. Theres no point in having that on if your not partying tbh.

 I wouldn't listen to Low full stop, I hate it :puke:

i only ever tolerate it when drunk as fuc.k in a club.

Seeing the whole dancefloor get low, low, low is rather funny. Especially when some of your friends get stuck on the floor.

I can imagine  I've never come across it in a club amazingly...or rather I've been in the wrong 'room' when it's been played...I always go to the cheesy pop room :kink:

in my local club back home there is a floor (top one) for the really cheesy stuff like spice girls, saturday night etc... but it's only open like 2 nights a week. and there the expensive nights

I'm normally on the bottom floor out of the three with all the current chart stuff and some amazing stuff from recent times. Although i swear to god if i go home and they are still playing Sex on Fuc,king Fire i will murder the DJ.

They will never ever stop playing Sex On Fire...it's the new Mr Brightside of indie dancefloor anthems... -_-

what are the clubs in Oz like, do they play The Veronicas :w00t:

Oh dear god -_-

I haven't been to one yet, i am determined to drag some people out to the city soon.

The big problem is were 20odd minutes away from the nightlife  and the campus pub is crap.

When i do go i hope they play the V's and a bit of my XV entry wouldn't go amiss

All my flatmates seem to diss like Gabby C, and they ain't so keen on the V's either. It's gonna be a no BJSC entries zone. I go back home to my new flat where my best mate loves Mira, Smack Me, Ella Elle L'a, and many ohter BJSC entries. Including a bit of RBW :kink: The other lass i'm gonna be living with is a Smack Me fan too :w00t:

20 minutes :snif: I randomly found out that Addicted To Bass came out there in 1998 and here a lot later in 2002  Gabriella is amazing, but I guess she's even more of a one hit wonder there than here, at least we had Warm This Winter  How fantastic that they love Smack Me  here was the old Australian mix of Addicted To Bass, which you'd be more likely to hear than the UK mix if it even came on at all

I personally preferred Stuck In A Groove, which was a No.1 in my chart

I know, 20mins is so far away. it's shorter by car i think, just ages by bus. Yeah, she is a bit, but the album did miles better over here and she won a billion ARIA's

Smack Me is just amazing tho. I think they'll love Not A Love Song as well. Oh and Pixie went down well back home too. It really is a Rontvia shrine

I'll just wait for the UK mix :heehee: i'll request it along with Untouched when i get home.

i'll listen to that when i get my fast internet back.

Stuck In A Grove is just epic. I had totally forgotten how amazing it was *runs to iTunes*

OMG. :o  i remember being so overly excited when this came out. i was so happy they werent a one hit wonder and that there was an album on the way

she's so good though, how can they not like her :o

how fantastic that they love the Rontvian songs  hope Pixie will make it big here!!!

the UK mix is by Apollo 440 by the way, which will be the mix you are looking for...Stuck In A Groove was stunning, in my top 5 of 2003 along with 4 Delta Goodrem songs, it was an Australian washout that year  I thought it would be huge in the UK, and then it got to No.26/27 :nocheer:

I don't know, i don't understand i personally. i am quite unique over here in having a female bias.

My best mate has quite a similar taste to me so if i love it, chances are she'll at least like it. Which comes in handy for concerts. She's come with me to both of my Suga gigs and to Gabby C. She's also camping at T In The Park with me

I saw on youtube it was the A440 mix. i hoped that was the right one

Although i am thinking i should have used SIAG now. i could use it for a one hit wonder spin off, if i wasnt already using Sweet About Me :heehee:

which is why Love Game seems perfectly acceptable to me now, I'm assuming it is one of FunMaker's favourite songs of the moment...

Having looked at his chart, it not only isn't in there, but Lady GaGa's album is only number 5 for him. I think this is a definite case of entering it just for the good result now...

FSR Rontvia are announcing their withdrawal from the BJSC with immediate effect. I feel like I am ruining the contest for everyone at every turn and certainly don't enjoy the feeling. I have really enjoyed the past 14 contests and 3 spin-offs and am glad that I was able to introduce a load of songs to people and come top 10 nine out of 14 times. Thanks for all the votes...whoever wants to be the host for XV can take over from me as I am leaving now and am withdrawing Pixie from the competition. In the last couple of months it has been implied that I'm argumentative, hypocritical and a control freak who rushes decisions, and although part of this is true () it is not a reputation I want to get for myself. I realised that for the first time ever, I couldn't care less how Pixie does...this contest has been completely ruined for me over lengthy arguments that I shouldn't have allowed myself to get so wrapped up in. Every opinion that I have is the wrong one and far from me controlling the contest, I feel like I'm not allowed to express my views anymore without some huge backlash. So, the only way to stop taking it so personally is to leave the contest, just like Bokia. Change your rules back, have your restricted entries and do whatever you like...
:snif: Is there any chance that you're kidding? :snif:
