really, I don't remember  was that with 2 Of Hearts or A Night With You? Their version of 2 Of Hearts is awful

oh dear, I think you're right actually

well basically, I've had 'A Night With You' on my iPod for about a year, and only ever listened to it once (probably whilst doing something else) and never listened to it again...every now and then when I go to delete songs from my iPod to make way for new stuff I will listen to the songs I'm about to delete to make sure I'm not getting rid of a gem. This is what happened with Electric Valentine, I actually sat and listened to the whole song properly and loved it instantly this time  this is also what happened with Uh Huh Her's Not A Love Song which was on my iPod for a good 8 months before I finally took any notice of it! I did happily delete 2 Of Hearts though :heehee:

A statement from the RTVN

'In light of the fact that FSR Rontvia do not wish to associate themselves with rejected entries from Kopecka, the Rontvian TV Network have been searching for an alternative entry and have decided to send the dance song 'I'm Going For Your Brother' by Northern Swedish dance act Blänk feat Young Ivy. With indie-pop and electropop being so prevalent in BJSCXVI, Rontvia as usual have decided to move out of their comfort zone by ditching their planned electropop entrant 'A Night With You' by Electric Valentine. Blänk and Young Ivy are honoured to get the last minute chance to represent the third most successful BJSC country and aim to do the best that they can for a nation who have recently celebrated three consecutive top ten placings including a win and a second place. The RTVN are aware that this song is rather risky but feels that the true BJSC rewards come with the riskiest entries and that this song fits the new Rontvian remit of taking risks and not worrying about statistics and records.'

I'm Not Your Brother has given FSR Rontvia a 14th appearence in the final out of 16 entries, now just one finalist behind Mdice, Kopecka and Ashton :o the RTVN would like to thank everyone who voted for it :cheer:

10th place. Wooooo. Congratulations! Btw i've made my mind of who you are in the ESC - Russia. :kink: (Or at least Greece, sorry Trash :heehee: )

edit-- woops, except your 2 DNQ's obviously :kink:

Edited by Pavel

Who would that then make Ashton, Rontvia's biggest supporter with 4 12's, and 94 points in 13/14 of their finals with an extra two 12's had Rontvia made the X and XII finals?

Estonia if Rontvia are Russia and Cyprus (obviously) :kink: if they are Greece :kink:

You suit more for Estonia actually!

A string of loff followed by a row of epicfails and a middle Top 10 in the last contest :kink:

British singer/songwriter Olivia Broadfield, whose influences are the following;

Feist, Imogen Heap, Tegan and Sara, Frou Frou, Gwen Stefani, Rachael Yamagata, Gemma Hayes, Regina Spektor, Joan As Police Woman, Phoenix, Abba, Blondie

has been chosen to represent FSR Rontvia in BJSCXVII with the beautiful track Don't Cry, FSR Rontvia's first attempt at sending a slower song since the early days of Delta Goodrem, Natasha Bedingfield and Sibel...the RTVN hope that the track will give FSR Rontvia a 5th consecutive top ten finish following the 2nd, 1st, 6th and 10th places that have been achieved in the past 4 contests courtesy of The Sound Of Arrows, Uh Huh Her, Emilana Torrini and Blank feat Young Ivy.

shame :( still, I'm adoring this song at the moment, it's gorgeous (to me) and I do like to ensure that I send something completely different each time :heehee:

if it makes the final that is :P it would be a shame to miss the run of points from Ashton but it was either this or A Little Bit Of Love by Andreas Johnson (which you would have been even less likely to vote for :kink:)

This is true, Andreas Johnson really gets on my tits tbh.

If it doesn't make the final then the points exchange has nowt to worry about. I'm on listen 3 now, and its sounding better than the first listen, i'm just waiting for the click

but his song 'A Little Bit Of Love' is pop genius...see what you think, I might send it in the future, or not depending on your response :heehee:

He's got a face i wouldn't tire of slapping tbh :heehee:

Honestly, i don't like that at all, theres too much robbie williams in his voice for me. Far too much.

Sorry, RW is someone i really hate, my mother loves him. Which is no doubt where i got that hatred from :kink:

 I can't hear Robbie in his voice :o

I agree about the slappable face though :P

Olivia Broadfield is your entry? I actually know her surprisingly LOL. Like I know about most things. ;( I have her album Eyes Wide Open or something, I found it incredibly dull. Safe is okay, though.
