Republikken Ashton - Update

 

Republikken Ashton announced today that it was sending Cinderella Theory to Torchwood with the track "IN2U". The ASC is hopefully of a good finish with the track, which is no longer on the bands myspace and has been confirmed by ex-member Corrine that it will remain a demo track. Corrine's vocals appear on the track alongside Jade and Jane.

 

The Ashton Media Corporation announced that it's TV division has been named: Sántriventnáitio Astén [sNA]

 

It's the first section of the AMC to undergo a name change to traditional Ashtonise.

 

Queen Amelle is to make a guest appearance for Nonsuch on the Tinchy Stryder track 'Never Leave You' Sántreventnáitio Astén confirmed that the new season of Afternoon Avec Amelle was still going ahead as planned with a special section from Mira Craig and Maria Haukaas Storeng.

STOP THE PRESS

 

 

The ASC has just uncovered a new song by Ashtonise favourite Gabriella Cilmi.

 

The track is called Non ti aspettavo (Libertà) and is sung in Italian and English.

 

 

Gabriella stars on the track with Italian-German Nevio Passaro, Cilmi is of Italian descent.

 

 

The ASC will be deciding shortly if it will postpone Cinderella Theory until XVIII and use Gabriella and Nevio for XVII

Argh, just left for work and the video won't work on my iPhone :( Cant wait to hear this tonight. Please tell me Gabs sings in Italian in it and not just in English :wub:

Mah Gabby C may be a one hit wonder atm, but she has 6 ARIA's and one helluva voice. Not bad for a 17 year old ;)

 

and i think i'm going to do it :dancing: It's not cheap, she's a one hit wonder with a stunning album, although she's had 2 top 10's in BJSC, this has a male in it and it's partially Italian. I would love to hear a full Italian version.

Naturally i am a Cilmi Loon and adore her voice :wub: and she's lovely in person too :heart: so my opinion of this track is 100000000000000000000000000000% bias towards the hardcore :wub: column because of her.

Yeah! I met her in Glasgow. She's really lovely :wub: She signed my ticket, and i was stuck so i couldn't get back out so i had to sit on the corner of the stage next to where she was signing until the crowd eased a bit. And i had my stolen copy of the set list in my lap and she was just like would you like that signed? and singed it in between seeing others :heart: She's quite funny and a f***ing midget. I had to shrink in our photo :rofl:

 

I know, i was furious at Island for that. I've managed to get the Australian physical copy of the single tho :funky:

Wow, cool :) I never get to meet anyone like that - guess I should be more blatant :kink: TBH Island is a sucky label now, it was good in the 80s and 90s, but they're just like the rest now.

I've been lucky. I've met Amelle and Heidi twice after gigs as well :wub:

 

Amelle is just amazing. She's really really nice and caring. All three girls care quite a bit for their fans.

 

Island is horrific, after Mutya, i just hate them. The f*** up of C&S compounds my feelings further. <_<
