I think 'Girls' would flop, hardly anyone likes it. Even Simon isn't pleased with it.

they would do, it's an 'official' forum, they would love it if Sugababes sang the alphabet in robotic voices as their new single

I used to use the Delta Goodrem official forum, but I steer clear of it now as they applaud every decision she ever makes...even if its a terrible one

not really. they tend to be quite critical.

there is a alot of varying opinions on there, About You Now isn't universally liked neither is Push The Button, and In The Middle is detested.

I'm not too fused how many others like it, i do and thats all that matters to me tbh

really :o how can people not like AYN and PTB, they are incredible pop songs  I always hated In The Middle too...

I certainly don't hate the song and it may grow on me, but you're right, if you like it then its the right decision for you to enter it into the contest

I think your current song is your best entry to date...I hope it gets into the final

thank you

if i don't use Girls then i'm entering a female Duo. The Duo seems most likely tbh and not just because the babes would flop

I'm Gonna Mess With Your Mind

The ASC today sensationally unveiled plans for BJSC X.

A spokesperson for The ASC this morning gave the biggest hint that the entrant for BJSC X had been decided. She said a Female Duo had been selected, and that the Duo was made up of two Sisters.

An Insider for this paper has told us that the first line of the song is 'I'm Gonna Mess With Your Mind' and that the chorus has starts 'Go Baby, Go Baby, Go Baby, Go'. Our insider also told us that the song had been covered by a reality TV band from a european country but failed to disclose which one.

The Sugababes were widely rumoured to be in contention for this spot after Amelle Berrabah was seen leaving the Headquarters of The ASC last week.#

Band Confirmed

In a press conference today the ASC announced that the story in yesterdays Ashton Sun was TRUE!

The Duo go by the name of Boo2, and is made up of sisters Amelle and Samiya Berrabah. The song they will perform is called 'Head Bash'.

Boo2 unfortunately no longer perform together due to Amelle being drafted into replace Mutya Buena in London trio the Sugababes.

Amelle had this to say: "I'm very excited at being given this opportunity. When Phil (Dictator of Ashton) said he'd like Boo2 to perform i almost fainted and got straight on the phone to Samiya. Ashton is like a second home to me and the girls (Band mates Keisha and Heidi) we love it here and recently bought a lovely house in the Forthern district of Morepeth Cove so we don't spend three months of the year in a hotel. To represent this fantastic country again is such an honour, we really couldn't compete for another country especially with the way we have treated here. It's not everyday a band is put on a selection committee for a prestigious competition like this one, but thats what you've done and i hope i can repay you by doing well in BJSC X."

The Sugababes are the most successful act in the AMC:Chart history with over 25 number 1 singles under their belt and 6 number 1 albums all of which have sold over 75Million copies in Ashton.

The Finger Licking Song

Exclusive Interview With Boo2/Sugababes Member Amelle Berrabah

Q: What do you think of your song, 'Headbash'

A: Well, i love it of course! *Amelle Laughs* It's really just about having a good time and letting go.

Q: Have you any plans for a promotional tour?

A: Oh yeah! I love touring. I became a singer to perform live at every opportunity and this contest is a great way to do it, and hopefully open up new audiences to our music.

Q: What do you make of the rumours that Boo2 will be pushed aside for the Sugababes?

A: Thats exactly what they are, rumours. There is no truth in them at all. Having said that i know for a fact i'll be back with the girls soon, hopefully with one of our best ballads. Phil (Ashton's Leader) thinks its criminal it wasn't released worldwide, but luckily for Ashton we have a separate release schedule for them.

Q: So it was an Ashtonise single then?

A: Yes, it was. One of our biggest sellers as well.

Q: Change, your last release hasn't performed as well worldwide as your last 3 efforts why do you think that is?

A: Personally i think it was due to a few factors. In some country's we had poor promotion, i mean how the hell is 3 singles gonna sell an album? Change was released while About You Now was still huge and Denial only had a single CD in the UK so we were pretty much screwed over by Island records.

Q: You only had 3 singles in other markets?!?!

A: Yes, *laugh* i know we released About You Now at the same time here and in the UK, but we released Never Gonna Dance Again here early January after About You Now had started to slide out of the top 5. Change was out in the UK in December with Denial in March. Back Down was out a fortnight later than Denial was in the UK and 3 Spoons Of Suga/Denial was released on June 24th for Phil's Birthday.

Q: Have You been to Kingdom Of Shadow before?

A: No i haven't, i'm really looking forward to it. Samiya has and she says its fantastic.

Q: How do you think you'll do in K.O.S?

A: I think we'll do alright. I don't expect that we'll win or make the top 5. We have to be realistic! The final and top 15 would be great for us.

Q: It's not the first time Ashton has risked its reputation on an unknown.

A: Your right! Red Blooded Women are fantastic, and really have had their career kick started thanks to BJSC. FSR Rontiva were very receptive to them, and i think Colour Me Dirty even entered their top 40.

Q: Laura Critchley f***ed up though didn't she?

A: I wouldn't say that! I think the song wasn't right for the BJSC. She's a great singer in my opinion, i love her album.

Q: Can you give us any hints what Ashton are planning for the next few competitions?

A: Well, were returning and so is another act. There's an Aussie group in contention for a few contests down the line. Nothing is really set in stone at the moment, it depends on other countries and how other acts perform.

Q: Like Mutya-Gate?

A: Yes, like Mutya-Gate.

Q: Thank you Amelle

A: No Probs Sofia.

Good to see they're looking forward to coming to the KoS

BTW I must congratulate Ashton on sending possibly the greatest song ever to BJSC 4 - I'm just sorry to see I was too late to vote for it and enter it myself ^_^

It's Mother Rocking Crazy

Samiya Berrabah has been ruled out of performing in the 10th BJSC after she contracted superbug "C.Diff" whilst recovering in Alder$h!te Hospital from Appendicitis. The news has caused great sadness in Ashton after Boo2 recently hit the top spot on the AMC: Music Charts. We can exclusively reveal to our loyal readers that The ASC has spent the past 24 hours searching for an alternate group to perform in the Kingdom Of Shadow.

In a Statement made earlier today to the papers of Ashton (all 3) by the ASC they confimed that UK girl group the Sugababes would represent Ashton once again.

It is unknown if the track will be their latest single Girls or a track from their two most recent studio albums. Front runners include: Ace Reject, Now You're Gone, Back Down (Live), Girls (Radio Edit), Girls (Danny Dove and Steve Smart Remix) and Never Gonna Dance Again.

Never Gonna Qualify Again

After an administrive error saw a LQ video for Ashton's Entry (Never Gonna Dance Again) entered the country has gone from having high hopes of a top 10 finish to no hope of qualifying. it is predicted that only 2% of the country will watch the Semi-Final results show and only 4.5% will watch the final.

A far cry from the 99.79% who watched the Final and Resuts Show for BJSC9

AMC:Championing New Music Concert '08

Following SugaGate and the failure to make it through to the BJSCX finals, the ASC (still including the Sugababes) had a meeting.

A unique opportunity had presented itself to Ashton, they could continue as they were using mainly established artists, or switch their focus. Now that they had failed to make the final for the first time in BJSC history the ASC decided that it couldn't hurt to go for a few riskier songs. To mark the occasion the dictator organised a concert aimed at giving new artists a kick start and allowing them to stand shoulder to shoulder with Ashton's most successful artists.

The line-up consisted of:

Red Blooded Women,

Cinderella Theory,

Gabriella Cilmi,

Mutya Buena,

Sugababes,

Camille,

Colbie Caillat,

Laura Critchley,

Dragonette,

Boo2,

Sharleen Spiteri,

Mira Craig and

Alphabeat.

AMC:Championing New Music '08 was held on 19th at the Ashton International Concert Centre and broadcast live on AMC:1 and AMC:Music.

Footage is expected to be available shortly.

Artist X, Album Y, Song Z and a whole lot more

Who is artist x? whats with the hype?

Well this guide should help you understand. Artist X has had their identity hidden from the Buzzjack world but not the domestic news in Ashton.

For the first time we can exclusively tell all.

The hype originated from a code that FSR Rontiva and Ashton were using to communicate about entrants for BJSCXI. The code referred to the Ashtonise entrant as X, hence creating a hype where everyone wanted to know who artist X was. We can confirm that Artist X uses female vocals, the full song and artist details are available at the bottom of the page.

The Album Y, from which Song Z is taken from, has currently sold over 24million copies in the AMC:Music charts.

it's called...... *Connection lost to www.ASun.an whilst loading article*
