Ashton To Host "Will You Remember The Winner Tomorrow?"

 

Earlier today it was confirmed that Ashton would be hosting the Semi-Finals and Final of "Will You Remember The Winner Tomorrow?". A spokeswoman for the ASC (Ashton Selection Committee) said "The ASC are delighted at having their bid to hold the inaugural WYRTWT? in Ashton. They hope to set a high standard for a contest to be held every 10 contests, especially as the first will be held on the first anniversary of a contest Ashton has been involved in since its conception." The Dictator added "It is a great honour to have such a prestigious event take place in the Republic of Ashton. I have personally selected three highly different venues to show participating countries different areas of the country. The final shall take place in a specially constructed auditorium named the 'Sugatorium' after Ashtons most successful chart act and three time BJSC representative."

 

Dates for Will You Remember The Winner Tomorrow? will be announced shortly after Mdice confirms the BJSCVI dates.

 

Ashton officially invites all countries to the contest which shall be held at the following three locations.

 

SF1 shall be held in Raethtrekkji on Ashton's Island territory at the historic Mithsdica Theatre.

 

SF2 shall be held in Holdvale in Midthan region of the mainland in the Fotherington Hall (Holdvale Conference and Exhibition Centre)

 

The Live Final will be in the capital city, Morpeth Cove, in the newly finished Sugatorium (Ashton International Concert Centre)

Gabriella's Mammoth Promo Tour

 

Gabriella Cilmi is to embark on a huge promotional tour of the Buzzjack world ahead of her second appearance at the Buzzjack Song Contest.

 

She'll sing 23 times in 10 countries with room for more dates to be added at request. The promo tour will also include a tour of the vast nation of Ashton.

Pixie arrives in Ashton for start of tour

 

17 year old singer Pixie has kicked off her promo tour, arriving in Ashton to perform Boys & Girls. She received rapturous applause from an adoring Ashton crowd and said 'I really appreciate the pre-contest support from Ashton, I'd love to buy a house here, it's a beautiful country'. She performed current single and BJSCXI entry Boys And Girls as well as a cover of Gabriella Cilmi's Got No Place To Go as part of her 'covers a past entry' series. Janelle makes long-awaited appearance in Morpeth Cove!

 

The Ashtonise wait concluded in dramatic fashion today as Janelle landed at Sugabia International Airport to an ecstatic Ashtonise crowd, being mobbed by adoring fans (barely held back by Ashtonise troops) during her procession from the aeroplane to her limousine, which was also followed throughout Morpeth Cove on the way to her live performance on 'Artists Stand Up For Artist Changing' at the Sugatorium, a movement massively popular amongst the fervent Ashtonise and Kopecek public. Once there, Janelle performed 'Many Moons' to a euphoric reception from a crowd of 300,000 people, before colaborating with a star-studded line-up for the charity single 'Just Change It!', with all profits going towards the movement against the new 'no-changing' rule in the BuzzJack Song Contest. With the Best of the BJSC Contest taking place in Ashton next month with Kopecek involvement, today's performance showed the close links between the two countries as well as giving the world a taster of what may be on offer.

 

Artists Stand Up For Artist Changing

 

Earlier this evening Ashton and Kopecka combined forces and wealth ahead of their shared hosting of the Best Of The Buzzjack Song Contest to form a new charity "Artists Stand Up For Artist Changing". The charity has already received hefty amounts of cash from the Ashtonise and Kopeck Governments.

 

A concert for Artists Stand Up For Artist Changing was hosted in the newly built Sugatorium to a sell out crowd of 423,000 people from both Ashton and Kopecka. Artists included Janelle, Gabriella Cilmi, Red Blooded Women, Sugababes, Little Boots, Jennifer Saunders, Mutya Buena and Camille.

 

All the performers sang together on the charity track "Just Change It!" released today. The concert was also broadcast on AMC:1 and AMC:Music

 

The new charity has formed new links between the two countries and cements their earlier agreement as a force to be reckoned with. Both countries are currently surviving the current Buzzjack economic crisis which has recently claimed Jurabaijan

Cookie Arrive In Ashton

 

Girl band Cookie continued with their promotional tour of Buzzjack at their eleventh country – Ashton

 

The girls arrived at the Morpheth Cove airport from Angelic Land to a small crowd of fans.

 

Member Marianne is quoted “Ashton’s a great place, really beautiful country. Fantastic music taste aswell, we love Gabriella Cilmi and hope she does well with Go To Bed Now. We adore the Sugababes aswell, they so should have made the final last month”

 

Tahnee, Nicola, Montanna & Marianne performed several songs at the Grand Hall including their entry “Do It Again”. They also performed a version of Mutya Buena’s Real Girl and a version of previous Ashton entries Denial and Got No Place To Go.

 

Lorikeet officials are said to be hoping for a top 10 finish after girl group The 411 finished 11th and the two previous entries flopped coming 26th and 24th.

 

Lenka postponed her visit to Ashton due to problems of getting visa to the country.

These problems are temporary and will be fixed anytime soon

says Lenka. The show will take place after the semifinal results being announced. The date to be confirmed shortly.

Isabel performs in Ashton!

 

Isabel Guzman, Mdice's entry into BJSCXI, arrived in Ashton October 16th, one of the many stops on her tour to promote her song 'Mysterious'. "It was another great concert!" Isabel said, "though I'm ready for the finale at this point. Touring is getting brutal." Isabel's final concert will be on the 22nd, at which point she'll return to Mdice in preparation for the final.

As Lenka said herself - "I don't know what you are talking about - i have planned to visit Ashton after SF results being annoutnced no matter if i qualify or not and it's only the true information from what you tell".

Gabriella Through To Final

 

Gabriella Cilmi made it through to the final of BJSCXI from the allegedly tough SF1. The news has brought a wave of relief to the country after failing to qualify for a final for the first time at BJSCX.

 

A source at ASC told us that they didn't think SF1 was that tough. They infact thought it was half full of $h!t, although they did find ten stunners.

 

The ASC refused to comment on our sources remarks and we have heard rumours of a employee being jailed for "Lieankonsk" (The crime of potentially harming Ashton's international standing. pronounced Le-an-osk) Ashtonise Central Policing confirmed that a 24year old female had been arrested on suspicion of Lieankonsk.

Tori Finally Arrives In Ashton

 

Herzebania's entry for BJSCXI has finally made her long awaited trip to Ashton, where she will perform tonight with Gabriella Cilmi in her sold out Sugatorium gig.

 

Both singers are celebrating qualification to the final of the 11th Buzzjack Song Contest, Tori with her song "Silent All These Years" and Gabriella (who was only a month old when "Silent" was first released) with "Don't Want To Go To Bed Now."

 

Gabriella Cilmi and the Ashtonise delegation invited the Herzebanian singer-songwriter to perform in Ashton after the pair hit it off during a very well recieved joint concert in Kopecka during the run-up to the semi-final.

 

"It's a pleasure to finally be here in Ashton," said Amos this morning, "as it's one of the shows I've been looking forward to."

 

"I'd love for Gabriella to come perform with me in Herzebania after the Contest is over, as I know there is big demand for it over there. Hopefully we'll both have good results to boast then!"

 

When asked about what can be expected from tonight's concert, the singer told us, "obviously we'll be performing our hits and our entries, but there will be some surprises we hope people will enjoy. You'll just have to wait and see!"
