Very hard to predict...Rontiva was torn as so many of the songs were of a high quality!

I do think the winner will be a solo artist.

But will people have voted for the songs that they didn't know before (and discovered via this contest) or the big No.1 hits which everyone was already familiar with?

I rated them all out of ten and then added a small bonus for

1) not knowing the artist and

2) not knowing the track.

I'm half way through, this really is quite a task :(

 

I'm rating out of 10 and then deducting 3 if the song was a massive UK hit, and adding 3 if it's relatively unknown in the UK. I might do it a bit differently next time because I'm surprising myself with the results :\

I have discovered certain songs through this competition as well as actually renewing my interest in certain ones I';d passed off recently.

 

I voted for a selection anyway - tried to put the mroe obscure/less known songs higher because I hthink it's a bit predictable if a record that's already been huge wins but hey ho.

But then again, everyone might have gone for different obscure songs whereas the big hits might be picking up a load of 7's and 8's which might see one of them cruise to victory...

 

If a well known song wins, I think the song choices for the next contest will be VERY different as everyone will pick famous songs to submit

i for 1 am considering less well known songs next time round.

But surely it's about how good the song is, rather then it being unknown?
