January 6, 200817 yr Somebody probably got bored of your moaning and decded to change it. HAHA!!! So true...
January 8, 200817 yr I saw the channel 4 episode on tonight last week on e4 and it was very good,im looking forward to the e4 episode now
January 8, 200817 yr oh dear..... who promised us last week that episode 2 was better?... WELL IT WASNT! it was pretty dire, stupid storyline, hate the pc preaching about fattism and gayness... sorry but its just bollox when pikeys are used to preach pc-ness at us in the name of entertainment. shameless has totally lost its way, its forgotten how to be funny relying on an occassional crudity to try in vain to add humour. shameless is living upto its title, its totally shameless in trying to scrape the barrel for laughs. it should have finished after seriese 2, 3 at the very latest, leaving us with very fond memories of a fantastically funny programme. now its simply SHYTE. pity.
January 8, 200817 yr I agree too Mushy. I thought it was better than the 1st episode and there were bits that made me laugh, but compared to the earlier series, this new series really lacks something, the humour just isn't there, well, on a constant basis at least.
January 9, 200817 yr grant it series 1 and 2 will always be the best but im still loving the show and really enjoyed the 2nd and 3rd episodes of the fifth series the 1st epsiode wasnt brill though
January 9, 200817 yr its a case of knowing when to quit..... john cleese knew it when he finished 'fawlty towers' after 2 seriese..... ben elton, rik mayall, lise mayer knew when 'the young ones' had had its day. these and other classic seriese recognise just how many laughs there is in any situation before ideas start repeting themselves. cutting edge humour is exactly that.... cutting edge.... sharp and quick, once its been told it is no longer fresh, new.
January 9, 200817 yr I loved the third one of Series 5 on e4 last night - the best of the new series IMO.
January 9, 200817 yr I loved the third one of Series 5 on e4 last night - the best of the new series IMO. well tbh that wouldnt be hard.... lol. i think even del boy could seem better... (i detest him)
January 9, 200817 yr Moan a bit more :drama: I don't understand, if people don't like it and think its dire then don't watch it   no ones asking you to.
January 9, 200817 yr Moan a bit more :drama: I don't understand, if people don't like it and think its dire then don't watch it   no ones asking you to. oh i know.... lets have a happy forum where everybody has the same opinion <_< never mind discussion or exchange of views... better still lets just clone a few chosen members then everybody will be happy ... god what a sh1t forum THAT would be the point is shameless wasnt dire...it was brilliant, so fans will watch it until it gets too much... but how will you ever know if you dont WATCH it?... especially as those who viewed it on e4 last week promised a better episode! and yes ill watch it next week and either praise or moan about it as i see fit..... i hope its praise as i do like it... or did...
January 9, 200817 yr I second MMR. It's so c**p! I usually bum it so hard but I actually SWITCHED IT OFF (OMGZ!! :o) halfway through the 2nd episode ):. Whoever these dudes are saying each weeks' new episode is 'the best one yet!' must be really simple minded or just ridiculously easily pleased. Srsly it's $h!t.
January 9, 200817 yr Lip hasnt left has he? The third episode is by far the best so far- Monica is amaze. (L)
January 9, 200817 yr Mimi and Monica make the show IMO. Lip will be back soon enough i reckon and i also think the writing will be better. Anyone noticed that David Threllfull (Frank) directed the first two eps - maybe this is why people think they arent up to scratch and maybe the fact that he didnt direct the third helped it be be the best of the series so far.
January 16, 200817 yr so far for me - episode 1 - 3/10 episode 2 - 8/10 episode 3 - 7/10 I want Shelia back.
