December 2, 200718 yr It's a foolish mish-mash imo. Some classics and some oddball moments that don't fit and ruin the pace of the album. She'd have done better to include 'King Or Queen', 'Rippin Up The Disco' and 'White Diamond'. To make it a 100% amazing album, I'd have replaced 'All I See' and 'Cosmic' with 'Magnetic Electric' and 'King Or Queen'.
December 2, 200718 yr Anyone heard the slow version of Uninvited? beautiful! ps-cWlzeA5Y You want the original far superior Alanis Morrisette original. :)

Mixing airtight dance-floor rhythms with smart guitar-driven melodies and a hipster aesthetic, Bloc Party set itself apart from an overcrowded field of often over-hyped British bands, and established itself as a force extending beyond the latest music industry headline. - HMV Video here: WsIMTwVaGyw Discussion Thread Here Virgin Radio Extreme is currently playing this tune right now.
December 2, 200718 yr To make it a 100% amazing album, I'd have replaced 'All I See' and 'Cosmic' with 'Magnetic Electric' and 'King Or Queen'. I love those 2 and don't think much of Magnetic Electric. :( I'd replace Heart Beat Rock and Wow.
December 2, 200718 yr Author 12 Elvis Presley - An American Trilogy [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/88697125252.JPG Original Chart Run (1972): 27-24-8-9-9-10-18-22-30-34-47 [11 wks] Chart Run: 12 [1 wk] Release date: 26-11-2007 Availability: despatched within 4 days Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: 88697125252 Label: RCA "Before Elvis, there was nothing," John Lennon once said. An overstatement, of course, but Elvis Presley's ascendance to superstardom in the mid-1950s kicked off a musical and social revolution whose impact has yet to abate. After the charming young man from Tupelo, Mississippi was discovered by Sun Records honcho Sam Phillips, the wise studio owner took Presley under his wing, leading to the landmark recording of his first single, "That's All Right (Mama)." The rest, of course, is well-documented history, with Elvis going on to conquer the pop charts, the box office, and beyond. He truly was the King, and his blend of country, pop, and R&B became the cornerstone of rock & roll. - HMV Video here: cRkBH10AdOg track listing 1. American Trilogy 2. First Time I Ever Saw Your Face
December 2, 200718 yr Don't forget White Diamond! One of the 30 best tracks she's ever done! 'White Diamond' is pretty much old news now as far as I'm concerned, amazing as it is. Although I wouldn't have minded a studio version of the uptempo version as a bonus track or even to have leaked.

December 2, 200718 yr *turns volume down* thank god its the last one next week! Yeah, but you just know it will only be another year or so before they launch a THIRD Elvis re-release scheme. Much amusement at Kylie's "massive" comeback, although at least she can always console herself by looking at the Spices.
December 2, 200718 yr Can't believe how long this is sticking around for :o :o but well done to the girls :D
