The X Factor is not a personality contest (as it seems to have turned out to be) but a singing one and Nikki provided the public with some astouding performances.

December 9, 200717 yr Niki couldn't be the next Beverley Knight even in her WILDEST dreams. And although Niki did deliver some nice performances, her biggest problem was that as the weeks went on they became boring very quickly. It was the same thing coming from her. Her vocals were out of key a lot of the time too (particularly in the last two or three weeks) and her attitude didn't do her any favours (whether it was intentional or not).

December 9, 200717 yr I'm always commenting on X-Factor much too late! Anyways, wrong decision last night. Niki did have some dodgy moments in both of her performances last night, and I agreed with Sharon and Simon about the choice of "Songbird", it was a particularly dull song that didn't seem to go anywhere or reach a climax or anything. However I cannot see why for the life of me people were voting Leon last night. He was painfully out of tune in both tracks. The judges kept on commenting about how confident he was...I actually thought it was the most nervous he'd been in weeks, he just wasn't enjoying any of it. And frankly Ray Quinn failed, and he was doing the swing thing a lot better last year. Same Difference were cheesy fun again last night. I'm tempted to go along that the girl wasn't just putting on a show with her tears, it's the first time I can remember them not being all bouncy on stage, it's not like their serial offenders in sob-stories unlike Niki, Beverley etc. Louis keeps on complaining they don't have singing voices, but whilst they're not in Rhydian's class, they're pretty much always in tune, which is more than can be said for the "better" singers in Leon and Niki. And "Chain Reaction" was damn entertaining to watch. Rhydian of course was amazing. If he doesn't win...MASSIVE travesty. MUCH "lol"age at the people in this thread trying to claim Leon's a better singer. Do you watch the show on mute? Edited December 9, 200717 yr by Shoat
December 10, 200717 yr I'm probably the only one here who likes Leon, cuz i just clicked with him from the beginning. I think he's really sweet and genuine, unlike some other contestans =x And of course he's not the best singer, but i know he has a bright future ahead and doesn't need to win ^^ From My Top 6 i made in the beginning of the competition, i've got 2 of the top 3 right! niiiice :P Leon & Same Difference (i know! guess i'm crazy! HAHA)
