Huge buzz around this track at the moment, and it's just outside the

Top 40 in the midweeks. A potential Xmas No.1 challenger?

It's played 24/7 at Boots [where I work] and I f***ing hate it. I hope to god it doesn't get too high!
It's a genuinely great song and wasn't re-released because of ad hype - it looks like it should hit the lower regions of the 40 this week and 100% through people finding out what it's called and getting it...the way music sales should work. Why do so many people need to be told what to buy...this hitting the charts is a major, major breakthrough. Praise it.
Its annoying  I don't like it -_-
I love this track, let's hope it does the business this week.
Is that the horrrible song on that TV advert with all the girls getting made up for an xmas party?.

Sounds really dated too, I thought it was some old song and attempted to look it up in BHS&A to see if it actually charted.

Obviously you just answered your own question

Awful.

Better than Phil Collins riding high because of some drum playing gorilla anyway.

Haven't heard it.

However, all this speculation over songs being Xmas #1 song challengers is pointless - we *all* know that the bloody X-Factor winner has it totally sewn up. :(

^^^ Aye I was saying to Ryan yesterday.

If you look back at say 2003 time before X Factor time the Christmas Chart battle was hugely anticipated and covered by the national news and everything. X Factor has just taken that away which is why Christmas releases are so thin these days imo - all the big names release before - I mean look at this year how high sales were in Late Oct/Early Nov and are now right back down to the point you'd expect to see them at the start of the year - happened in 2006 too. Not many people bother with releasing xmas week it seems just because they know the hyped up $h!t will be #1 hands down. :(
