Posted December 9, 200717 yr With leona's sales declining now as the weeks go on, will she still be able to stay on for an 8th week? before one of the contestants of this years (terrible :puke2: ) X-Factor score the last No.1 single of the year. I hope she can, AND I SERIOUSLY hope that 'Soulja Boy' does not go to No.1! i've only heard the 30 sec clip of it from Itunes.....but that really was enough to nearly ruin my xmas! but with Chavcada releasing Monday, the re-issue of the re-issue of 'Fairytale of New York' the annual popularity of Mariah Carey setting in, and Girls Aloud still riding high on the Itunes chart among others, it could be a close call..... Anyway I go on to much, what do YOU think???? PS: I had set this up to be a poll!!?? dunno what happened!? so anyone feel free to do it properly for me! :D Edited December 9, 200717 yr by Jester
December 9, 200717 yr You forgot SHAUN THE SHEEP. :P I have a feeling that Soulja Boy will be #1. He'll be huge on physicals, surely?
December 9, 200717 yr I dont know some of the R&B singles seem to be bigger on downloads than physical, lets hope sugababes can take it :D.
December 9, 200717 yr It won't be the sugabes; I honestly think it could be Leona again or quite possibly Shaun the Sheep. :o
December 9, 200717 yr I seriously think Cascada could be a threat next week! :o I doubt it; They really only sell downloads.
December 9, 200717 yr Author I seriously think Cascada could be a threat next week! :o TBH I'd rather Cascada then Soulja, at least there is a version of 'Last Christmas' on the single! thats what we want this time of year! not songs like 'Crank That'! it would just be like Akon's brilliantly orginal :puke2: 'Smack...That' from last year, see a pattern in the titles here anyone??? <_<
December 9, 200717 yr Author I doubt it; They really only sell downloads. I think the single of 'Everytime We Touch' did well, plus you can get the CD for £2.99 with 5 tracks on it!
December 9, 200717 yr I doubt it; They really only sell downloads. Yeah but ''Miracle'' and ''Truly Madly Deeply'' were always in the lower half of the iTunes Top 100 and they both did well!
December 9, 200717 yr I think Sugababes will miss the top 5 and get to 6. Leona will probs still be no.1 which is a shame.
December 9, 200717 yr Cascada are noted for doing FAR better physically then they do on downloads. "What Hurts the Most" is their first single to actually go top 10 on iTunes...
December 9, 200717 yr Cascada are noted for doing FAR better physically then they do on downloads. "What Hurts the Most" is their first single to actually go top 10 on iTunes... Not THAT much. Truly, Madly Deeply's download chart run is: 12 14 12 15 11 14 18 Didn't look any further...
December 9, 200717 yr Still a lot worse than #5. Its also still rising on Itunes and i think it is the best competition to Soulja Boy. Leona down to #3 by a very small amount i think
December 9, 200717 yr I doubt it; They really only sell downloads. No so - they sell better on CD than on download!
December 9, 200717 yr I really hope Soulja Boy is number one over Cascada... I'd even prefer Shawn The Sheep to be #1, rather than the bloody awful Soulja Boy!
