Singer Lily Allen has a phobia of getting booed on stage - believing she is the "uncoolest" person on earth.

The Smile hitmaker, 22, has never actually been booed on stage, and puts her bizarre paranoia down to growing up in the shadow of her famous father, actor Keith Allen.

She says, "I actually do really believe that people hate me and whenever someone introduces me on stage and they go, 'Now, Lilly Allen,' I wait for people to start booing.

"I think I'm possibly the uncoolest, naffest person ever to walk the earth. I've felt like that since I was a kid. It's less so now but I do definitely get that feeling specifically when people introduce me.

"I grew up my whole life in my father's shadow. I wanted to be Lily Allen, not just Keith's daughter."

Aww bless Lily. I think she's amazing yeah she isn't the best of role models but i think she is amazing, and you are cool and you are NOT naff!

Every live performance I've seen on the tellybox- I don't think I've heard it get booed. She's great; maybe not the best role model but Britney was a role model once and look what happened there. But I think she is amaze.

Yeah perhaps it's got worse, i dunno or maybe she's just paranoid. And I do agree Shakira is more of a role model in my opinion, i mean Lily smokes and drinks [no offence to those who do] but i suppose that's not really role model material

Must be scary performing in front of alot of people

but im sure shes used to it now

remembering all them words/lyrics must be hard for her sometimes though!

awwww poor lass.

the public seem to adore her, tho i heard she got a bad reception at T in the park

I think anyone who's prepared to stand up for what they believe in and not go along with the crowd, are very special and unique imo
She's bound to get some boo's though to be honest because of the fact she is outspoken but I think she's fantastic. I'm sure our Lily can handle herself.
