Posted December 11, 200717 yr Kooks: 'We've made a good pop album' Tuesday, December 11 2007, 12:02 GMT Source: Digital Spy By Alex Fletcher, Entertainment Reporter Rex Features The Kooks' Luke Pritchard has claimed that his band's second album is "a good pop album". The singer claimed that their new LP is "dynamic" and that he wants everybody to listen to it. He told NME: "I think we've made a dynamic album. Every song has its own character. It's a good pop album. But talk is cheap - I want everyone to hear it." The album, which is due for release in March or April next year, will be called Konk. Explaining the album title, he commented: "[Guitarist] Hugh [Harris] said, 'Why don't we call it the studio name?' And we thought The Kooks - Konk sounded right." The follow-up to 2006's Inside In/Inside Out, will feature the song titles 'See The Sun', 'Shine One', 'Lonely Cat' and 'Do You Wanna (Make Love To Me)'.
December 21, 200717 yr It all sounds somewhat nauseatingly egotistical. Some of the song titles are foul enough and TELLING us that you've written a good pop album? Erm nay, we shall be the judges. I see them going the Kaiser Chief way. #01 lead, big first week sales *flush* beyond that. Ewwness in general -_-
