It's been almost 18 months since I last updated the chart run of The Singles Collection! It's been in the Top 200 for 168 weeks, which makes it her longest running album in the UK charts, even though it's one of her lowest peaking. It's interesting that Britney's album has been a regular presence in the chart since the summer of 2020 considering that prior to that it only made occasional appearances in 2018 and 2019 (in the era of streaming). Also kind of crazy that it's currently in an unbroken run of 103 weeks in the chart!

 

It's getting very close to a total of 400,000. Currently 398,933.

I'm guessing the low peak is mostly due to My Prerogative: Greatest Hits only coming out 5 years earlier. Still it's longevity in the streaming era is great. I wonder if this will get a new peak if we ever get a new Britney album.
