I thought his version was absolute complete $h!t and I'm amazed it didn't lose the contest for him! And now it's being released... GO FIGURE.

Yes! i am so glad he won when it was down to the last 2 i was like oh no Rhydians gonna get it :puke2: so i voted for Leon and he won :cheer:

Unfortunately I'll probably have to buy it at some stage as I collect no 1 singles but I'm not going to help it get the Christmas no 1 slot.

Bless his cotton socks, I think he's too nice and soft to cope with being told what to wear, what to eat, when to fart etc etc. Roll on the conveyor belt...

I mean, he was my favourite but not in a millions years i would imagine that! I was 100% sure that the weirdo Ridhyan would win...

I have to agree that Leon is too sweet and nice to all this music bussiness sh*t, and he doesn't have Leona's big voice, but good luck to him! ^^

The sales for the instant christmas #1 have dropped quite sharply every year. Leona sold 100-200k less than Shayne with her coronation song. Leon may sell half of that yet - sales of about 250,000 which would make it the year's fastest seller (sadly)

I love the original too. And I agree with everything you've said - he'll release an album of swing covers in less than a year and sell a fraction of what Lewis and Buble have.

I think it's a really poor song, but it did come alive when Rhydian sang it, I'm so shocked he didn't win :o the other guy was like a Sneddon clone.

Just listened to the sample on iTunes and he sounds really flat, especially when he sings "hard to care"..or whatever the line is. Such a hard song to pull off, Mariah and Whitney manage it but I don't think anyone else can.

Absolutely, I will download tonight. I have been backing him to win for weeks and am so happy! I actually don't know the original but I loved it from the moment he sang it and thought Rhydian's version was bland in comparison, despite having a very good final night otherwise!
