Like most of you, I also have a year-end chart for 2007. My personal chart top 100 of 2007 includes all the songs that have been charted Luciano's Personal Chart since its start in March this year. I've added points to each song to compile the charts, to make it more fun, I'm posting the points as if they were single sales, so if a song got 1 point, I'll take it as if it were 1,000 copies sold of the song. I hope you enjoy and feel free to comment :D

Nice to know you like a lot. So far it's mainly indie/rock but it will have more pop songs in the higher part of the chart

Love all the songs I know! Amy should be a bit higher though :drama:

I know, it's my chartness fault to be honest :kink: I charted that song too late and then it fell pretty quickly! Anyways, expect Britney to flop, though... "Gimme More" is not even Top 500 :P

so far verry good ^_^

and wow u r doing this fat :P

Yupp, it's because I won't have time in the near future and I want this to be finished before New Year :D

This summer, Fergie released the very first ballad off her solo project "The Dutchess". The song immediately entered my charts and climbed fastly to become her most successful single on my Personal Chart this year. "Big Girls Don't Cry" was lately followed by the No.8 "Clumsy", which charted earlier on this summit.

Peak Possition: No.4

Sales: 93,000

The new sound of 2007 wouldn't have been the same without these newcomers. With its meaningful lyrics about the Coventry workers left unemployed back in 2006, "You're Not Alone" was the most successful single from The Enemy on my charts this year. Following this is their newer offering "We'll Live And Die In These Towns" which is expected to debut on my Top 20 within the next weeks!

Peak Possition: No.2

Sales: 99,000

"Autumnsong" was the Manics summer anthem this year, taken as the second single off "Send Away The Tigers", their comeback album! Shockingly for the band, the song only managed No.10 on the Official UK Singles Chart when it clearly deserved Top 3 status with its catchy guitar riffs and sing-a-long type of chorus.

27 - ATHLETE - Hurricane

Peak Possition: No.1

Sales: 103,000

If there's a way for an indie-rock band to make a comeback, this is it. Athlete returned to form this 2007 with their single "Hurricane", lifted from their new album "Beyond The Neighbourhood". And even when the music is great, the public didn't seem to respond with the single only making the Top 40 of the Singles Chart. Unjustice of music, if there's to be one.

26 - STEREOPHONICS - It Means Nothing

http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/VVR5048647.JPG

Peak Possition: No.3

Sales: 104,000

Even when their sound is not a patch compared to the "Dakota" or "The Bartender And The Thief" days, Stereophonics still managed to catch my attention when they came back with "It Means Nothing". The song itself is quite simple and even boring at times, but I liked it quite enough back in October to make it reach the Top 3 of my personal charts and bounce back into the Top 10 after several weeks of absence.

Thank you Bojan :yahoo:

I know it's extremely weird to see "Piece Of Me" that low, but it only debuted on my charts three weeks ago, and therefore it's having such a lackluster performance on my Top 100 :(

And lol at "Umbrella", I know it's quite low, but I remember I climbed it to No.1 and the next week I had overplayed the song so much I was pretty annoyed already. It didn't stay many weeks in my chart.

25 - MARK RONSON FEAT. LILY ALLEN - Oh My God

http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/88697113172.JPG

Peak Possition: No.1

Sales: 106,000

This has been a fantastic year for Mark Ronson. He proved to be a fantastic DJ/Producer when he released "Version", his debut album of cover versions and funky beats. "Oh My God" was the second single to be taken from the album, and with the help of Lily Allen, the song was transformed into a great version of the Kaiser Chiefs' 2005 No.6 hit!
