Well despite taking the biggest fall from #2 from a non-Elvis or McFly record in a long time, this song sells enough to make the year end top 40.

 

I don't have a problem with this song unlike most people here.

See this is the Christmas effect.

 

Young people get iPods/music vouchers etc for Christmas and they go out and buy songs they didn't own and want or just buy them on impulse in Christmas exuberance. It happens on the US chart too.

 

Better than $h!tty Xmas tracks clogging the chart up anyway (:
