Best Single: Kingdom Of Doom

Best Album Track: 80s Life

Green Fields:

This was never going to be as good as the Gorillaz, but whatever Damon Albarn touches, turns to gold imo. Sounds a bit like Blur when they were good.

Consistently good album from Mika, aside from the woam with a wedding dress and no eyes  Toss up for best single between Relax and Happy Ending. I should mention Grace Kelly, but I have rather gone off it of late again.

Interesting comparison, Mark - good to see you love the same two summer tracks - Groove Armarda and Robyn- that I do. Thanks for commenting.

I thought it was a single when I typed it, but I couldn't remember :( I must have charted it as well  I will change it to Russian Literature instead :P

I love Air - but most of you know that  A new Air album is a bit of an event for me - and this is their best album since 2004's Talkie Walkie. Lead single Once Upon A Time went top 40, but Mer Du Japon, the follow up, sank without a trace. As beautiful as I have come to expect from Air

Best Album Track: Me And Mr Jones

Rehab:

Love Is A Losing Game:

Well, no real surprise, for many and various reasons this has been Amy's year. So many good tracks on the album, all of which have been singles. She looks so alive on the Rehab video - and by Love Is A Losing Game, she was too wasted to even make a video. Buck your ideas up, Wino.
