September 28, 200816 yr Ah, the inevitable re-release... surely there is something else on the album worth putting out? Mind you, will it be download-only like the last two were?
September 28, 200816 yr 'A-Punk' gets a re-release in the non-too-distant future. !!! what s the point? they have so many great tunes that could be perfect choices for a single release ... M79? Walcott? I Stand Corrected? Campus? Bryn? c mon...! wtf!
September 30, 200816 yr Ah, the inevitable re-release... surely there is something else on the album worth putting out? Mind you, will it be download-only like the last two were? though it came out physical in like a 'box set' - tho not actually a box
October 1, 200816 yr I Stand Corrected? Should definitely be released! Re-releases are everywhere at the moment :drama:
October 16, 200816 yr Should definitely be released! Re-releases are everywhere at the moment :drama: The 2004/5 indie re-release era takes some beating. I Predict A Riot, Slow Hands, Somebody Told Me, Banquet, Club Foot, Galang, Apply Some Pressure, Decent Days And Nights, Strict Machine, You Can't Fool Me Dennis, Laura, and three Editors singles :)
October 17, 200816 yr I think there are better songs on their album that deserve to be released in preference to this being re-released.
October 25, 200816 yr Author I went to see them last night. They were good, well good enough. The Radio 1 audience had a good drunken sing-a-long. Ezra King irritates me greatly though. He's just so...perfect. So nice, it's a bit unnerving. The whole gig played back like the album too. Vampire Weekend are like the musical equivalent to 'The Stepford Wives': It's all very "nice" but it isn't what it says it is (Upper Westside Sowetto...WHT LULZ) and is just a little bit insincerely poifect.
