Argh, I missed the last episode :angry: I hope the BBC I player works <_>

I really do hope Series 3 gets commisioned, although I am concerned by some of the rumours flying about.

Martha I could live with just about (although I suspect with 3 big names now to contend with in Barrowman, Myles and Agyeman all vying for airtime, I can see poor Gareth David-Lloyd being relegated back again to background fodder, which would be a huge waste). I can't see Mickey fitting into Torchwood at all unless he's had a massive character overhaul and toughened up a lot. What's most worrying is talk of TW being moved to a 7pm Saturday slot. The whole point of Torchwood was to explore the more adult nature of the DrWho world, but that will become plain impossible in an early evening slot. The show would simply become a sub-standard Doctor Who clone, and what's the point in that?

 

I've only ever heard the

Martha rumor, which I wouldn't mind as she did well in the two episodes she appeared in. 7pm seems strange for a show like TW as like you said it is more adult (shown 10:30pm here), but then again there are rumors about the show becoming more family friendly aswell. I don't think that Gareth would be sent to the background as Ianto has really grown in the past 2 seasons and become a favourite amongst many. Overall it makes sense for Martha to take Owen's spot, but Agyeman replacing Mori seems aweful to me.

I think the edited version for family viewing is on at 7pm this Friday. (Well, they did it throughout the series, so why change it now?)
