I dont do it maliciously, infact its not really even to do with the music, but you cant help associating a band with its fans I just get put off buying the albums etc. Its nothing personal against the sugababes, its just how i feel.

 

I think the trouble is, what we left now are two British girl bands and in terms of their "hugeness", the chart just goes up and down between the two. One minute sugababes are at no1, the next, GA are continuing their top 10 run.

 

I mean on the sugababes forum in their other artists section, GA is by far the busiest and mainly contains sugababes fans being nasty about an act they dont like. But surely there are another ten acts they dont like? Do they say mean stuff about them? No, they dont bother, mainly coz its pointless. So do they infact have a motive when saying bad things? Do the people who say "GA can't sing" think if they say it enough times, no-one will buy their records anymore?

 

And before anyone starts, i know GA fans do the same about the sugababes but maybe some GA fans are jealous that they never get number 1's? Or that they arent big in europe like the sugababes?

 

And also, sorry but if you compare the bitchiness on each official forums, the sugababes fans are far far worse for being mean about GA than vice versa.

This thread though, is quite a joke, It was started to end the debate in the Chart Thread, but it's just created even more chaos.

 

Both are talented girl bands, if they wern't they wouldn't have lasted as long as they have.

^^ totally agree with that. I dont think everyone needs to even love the other band but just to stop all this, why not bother saying anything and keep it to yourself?

Being co mod of the Girls Aloud forum, I feel quite annoyed a poll like this has got out of hand and it causes people to go off either sugababes or girls aloud! we should appreciate them both! they both do wonders for pop music, regardless of who is the better singer, who has the better album, single or producer, who sells more tickets! It doesnt matter! Enjoy them!

I have made myself clear on the fact that i dislike S!NNN, CTS and their recent live lounge cover. Oh, and the teenage dirtbag cover. i prefer the original. thats all i have said ;)

 

 

Can i just make one thing clear ... i would NEVER let any fans comments stop me from buying music. I own both 'Tangled Up' and 'Change' and will continue to support both bands if they release good music.
