January 23, 200818 yr Jay Sean really has come from nowhere. He could be top 10 by the end of the week, tis mad! :o I expected him to miss top 40, but it has had pretty good rotation on the music channels.

January 23, 200818 yr I still think Adele will reach #1. Just not this week. It seems the days of a quick impact on release week and then fizzling out are over now. Just look at how Basshunter, Britney and even Nickelback(!) all increased last week. :o Still different. Those 3 were gaining airplay only after they were released, Adele is already #1 on airplay.

January 23, 200818 yr I'm glad Adele is still not number 1 and that the gap is slightly wider. She made me throw up this morning on the Live Lounge. Jo Wiley bums her way too much and she was actually rubbish at Last Nite by the Strokes. she just sounded like Kate Nash. I feel sorry for non-cockney women in the UK who want a record deal cos being from London with the accent seems to be in the job description these days. At least Duffy's doing it for my home (North Wales). And don't get me started on the Brit Award. If that doesn't say 'We want you to buy Adele this year' then I don't know what does..... Rant Over! Go Basshunter! May every criticism Radio 1 gives you translate into another 100 sales :lol:
